We were extremely happy with the service we received at Mountain View Chevrolet on Tuesday 11/9/10. We worked with Scott Hartmann and purchased a 2011 Chevy Malibu. We had not actually planned to buy one that night, but the car we really liked was available and Scott worked with us to get all the paperwork ready and it just seemed like the right time to buy it. Everyone at Mtn View Chev. was so nice and we felt very much at ease there. Jerry Krepps talked to us for a little while and we really enjoyed that. The gentleman who worked with us to get all our paperwork completed and signed was just great and I feel terrible that I didn't write his name down. I looked at the staff on the website but did not see his picture, so I'm not sure of his name, but just the same, he was great. We will definitely return to Mtn View Chevy if we decide to buy another car, and we are already telling everyone what a great place this is. He willingly went to get keys for any vehicle we were interested in and urged us to look them over, check out any of their features and drive them around the lot. He showed us how various options worked and pointed out some options we had missed. When we expressed dislike of some features, he didn't try to "smooth it over," but took the complaints seriously, getting in the driver seat several times to see just what we were concerned about. For instance, when I adjusted the seat to fit in an Impala I liked, I found that when I turned my head to check the view to the rear, I was looking directly at the headrest; I had no view at all. Jimmy willingly got into the seat to see what I was seeing,and reported it to his manager. When we didn't have the second key set we were supposed to on the Traverse we were buying, he took us to the parts department and had one made for us right then. We were concerned about the open tracks in the floor where the seats slid back and expressed our fears that items would be dropped in them and jam the mechanism or that children would stick fingers in them, at the very least getting grease on themselves and other objects. Jimmy took the problem to the manager, who is trying to get something done to remedy the situation. Throughout, Jimmy was courteous, friendly, and interested without being pushy or overbearing. More
