Failed to Keep Promises in Written Contract Written promises made when we bought car were not kept by dealership. Having small children we wanted a same size (SUV) replacement if we had signific Written promises made when we bought car were not kept by dealership. Having small children we wanted a same size (SUV) replacement if we had significant repairs that required the car to be in overnight. We have this agreement in writing from the dealership. It is a reason we bought here instead of driving to Atlanta for a cheaper priced vehicle. However when our car was kept for several days this written promise was not honored. We were told "higher ups" blocked the service representative from honoring the written contract. I liked the representative but, when I stated I would be happy to escalate the issue personally as this was a big deal to us, I was not put in touch with management. I believe promises should be honored. Written promises should be immediately honored by every staff member. The fact that management refused to honor a written promise will mean we will be buying a car elsewhere next time around. Apparently even written promises by this dealership mean nothing. More

Bad Service work My truck was to be worked on repairing the emission reduction tank. The part was supposed to arrive on a Tuesday morning and didn't. Long story short I didn't get the part until Friday morning and I had to pay for the over night shipping charges. I had a hard time getting any information out of jamie, the service rep. He never could give me concrete answers as to why my parts didn't arrive. It wasn't until I spoke with Jimmy did I get some answers and results. The price of the repair was over $1000, I feel like $600 worth of labor dollars is excessive. I should have been skeptical when he tried to sale me a brake fluid change and the truck is only two years old. Please..... More

Caught lying and trying to indeed repairs. after the most recent service visit with the Mt View Chevrolet dealership, I would not consider purchasing (a new or used) and or having a vehicle serviced via Mt View Chevrolet again. I feel accountability and responsibility are not paramount within this dealership. More so, the negative stereotypes of dealership padding services and performing unneeded repairs / false repairs have been lent great credence by Mt View Chevrolet Once exposed, what may have been an attempt to mend a relationship after being deceived, clearly appears nothing more than an action to cover up a gross deception. The ethics of this dealership in my mind is clearly in question. The credence lent to stereotypical shenanigans (over charging and unneeded repairs) this dealership has exhibited seems well practiced, polished, blatant and the fiber of Mt View Chevrolet in my case. .
