We had been shopping around for an 2008 Avalanche, and had found one at a local Chevy dealer. We had made an offer to them & were negotiating for a few days which was very frustrating. I found the Avalanc had found one at a local Chevy dealer. We had made an offer to them & were negotiating for a few days which was very frustrating. I found the Avalanche on the internet on Mtn View Chevy's website & scheduled a test drive for Friday 30, 2009. I was on Mtn View's lot for fifteen minutes & had made an offer that was accepted. I work a lot of overtime on my job, which is out of town, Mtn View saved me a lot of time which I appreciate very much. This is my 4th vehicle I have purchased from Mtn View over the years & I have been very pleased with the deals I have gotten. We are happy with the trade value they gave us for our Ford Taurus, they gave us more than the Chevy dealer with no negotiating. The way we were treated, & overall experience was easy, trading vehicles can be frustrating, Shaun & Don made it a simple, enjoyable deal, I will buy my next vehicle from Mtn View without question. Thanks for your help & we look forward to future purchases with Mtn View. More

I would have to say this is the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Rodney had me complete the financial information online and when I arrived at the dealership all I had to do w car buying experience I have ever had. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. I have always owned Fords since I feel buying a vehicle is a large enough purchase to buy American made to help the American economy. I will return to Mtn View when it comes time to buy my next car. I was suprised at how easy and comfortable it was to buy a car. Rodney Grimes is a great saleman and not your typical sales guy. I really appreciate his help and Mtn View for all their assistance. Thanks to all! More

My wife bought her car at Mtn. View ford in 2003. We have had it serviced there ever since. I have also had my F-150 serviced ther as well. We knew that it costs a little more to get your vehicle serviced at had it serviced there ever since. I have also had my F-150 serviced ther as well. We knew that it costs a little more to get your vehicle serviced at a dealership but thought it was worth it because they would always repair it on the same day and knew what they were doing. Last Thursday evening my wife took her Ford Focus in to have a noise checked out and to get an oil change. She was called at 10:30 a.m. by Gary the next morning and told the noise was a loose plastic guard under the front of the car and that the oil had been changed. The price was $85.00 for checking out and repairng the loose guard and $27.99 fo the oil change. We were told the vehicle was ready to be picked up and the total was about $112.00 before tax. He also said that the front brakes needed replacing for $179.00 but we chose to wait on that untill another time. We had to go to the hospital and told him we would pick up the car later Friday or Saturday morning. We were called again at 1:30 P.M. by Gary. I spoke to him this time and he told me that the car was ready and the price was $240.00. I knew that he had told my wife that it was $112.00 earlier and that the car was ready but I hadn't spoken to him so I told him that I would have her call him back. When she called him back to explain how the price had more than doubled. He said that they had done a software update on the cars computer and that he was not aware of it before. They are supposed to call before they do any repairs to get authorization like they had done earlier with the brakes but we received no such phone call. When we went in Saturday morning to pick up the car the cashier and the other worker on duty could not help us. We were told that if she wanted to get the car we had to pay and that she could call back on Monday to speak to the service manager. We went ahead and paid because my wife neede her vehicle to get to work. When she called the service manager on Monday he was rude and told her that since she had signed some paper that she had to pay and that she needed to pay attention to what she signed. We will not be buying any more cars from this dealership or using it for service. If you do take your vehicle there to get serviced don't beleive what they tell you on the phone or in person. It is what is in the 6 page paper they make you sign to get your vehicle back that matters. When you go to the cashier to pay you can see all these letters with positive feedback on the corkboard. That made me laugh because we were having an issue and couldn't get it resolved or even get a decent explanation while we were standing here in front of this corkboard full of these nice letters thanking them for doing such a great job. P.S. A couple of days after I posted this review I was contacted by Don Erwin at Mountain View Ford. He explained what had happened, apologized for the misunderstanding and we came to an agreement that my wife and I are satisfied with. It is good to know that there is someone who cares and will respond when a customer feels like they have been taken advantage of or mistreated. More

After speaking with Mr. Irwin the service issue with my used vehicle was handled immediately and to my total satisfaction. The part was replaced at no cost to me at all. They were very helpful with helping me obtain my car. It was pouring rain and Rodney did everything so that I could stay dry. Sales men were friendly during intial sale process, however felt it was un-professional to be emailing and txting when out on test drive and when taking credit application information. After sale was finanlized never saw sales men again. Vehicle was cleaned on the outside, but the inside was left dirty, had to take it and pay myself for the inside to get cleaned because I could not get the sales men back on the phone to see about bringing it back in to get cleaned.
