Mungenast St. Louis Acura responded

After multiple attempts during and after the sales process to reach an amicable solution, our efforts to resolve with this customer were not accepted. This misunderstanding is a glaring example of how a simple miscommunication during the initial web-based contact led to an expectation that, despite our best efforts, could not be fulfilled. In response to this customer’s review, members of our management company, which is independent of Mungenast St. Louis Acura, have completed a full-scale review of Mungenast St. Louis Acura’s interaction with this customer. Our interviews and factual findings cause us to conclude that despite a computational error, the sales staff of Mungenast St. Louis Acura worked diligently with this customer to secure third-party financing with the same interest rate they were initially quoted through Acura Financial Services on the vehicle they wanted, with their sales tax rolled into the amount to be financed. In an attempt to retain this customer’s business, the Acura sales manager authorized an interest rate buy-down with the lender, which if accepted would have cost the dealership any profit in the vehicle. The offer was rejected by this customer, who informed dealership staff that he was purchasing elsewhere. Furthermore, our customer’s objection to resolution was met with poise by our sales management team.
