Murdock Auto Group started in 1982 with the opening of our Murdock Chevrolet store in Bountiful Utah. In 2005 with the purchase of our first Hyundai dealership in Orem, Utah , Murdock Hyundai began. In 2006 we purchased our Logan dealership and in 2008 we bought the Salt Lake City store . For our Hyundai dealerships our goal was simple, have a Murdock Hyundai in every neighborhood. Now we want more, we want a Murdock Hyundai in every driveway. TERRIBLE!!!! I am disabled so it is very hard for me to get out to look and purchase things. we found a suburban at murdock online went to dealership to test driv I am disabled so it is very hard for me to get out to look and purchase things. we found a suburban at murdock online went to dealership to test drive was in a lot off pian found some things wrong with vehicle no problem BUT while test driving we ask the salesman Casy if everything worked he assured myself and my son that yes everything on this suburban works which saved us time to get me back home and comfortable. Well we made an offer which was excepted with the exchange of tires and wheels But then that fell through when we went to put money down so ok fine we delt with it we purchased this suburban for 8149.00 approx which was higher than others we had found online but the dealer was closer to home and everything worked WRONG!! in driving it home and going for a little drive less than 75 miles total since purchase we come to realize the ac, recirc air, and service autoride had problems we contacted loan officer mike and was told that was not how they did business to contact used car manager the next day, Another Casey well I contacted him and he proceeded to tell me that there was no way the salesman would tell us that and that the service autoride was an extra and would not effect anything on the vehicle nor safety humm well thats funny cause it deals with rear suspension basically treated me as if I was an IDIOT little did he know before my injury I have done frame up rebuilds on over half dozen trucks so I was aware of these problems and there cure he just did not want to honer what his salesman had told us and figured we was to ignorant to know any better so so so disappointing that my sons first used car purchase ended up like this and after spending an extra grand on top off price for 5 year extended warranty which might have coveredf the autoride problem And I do think that a faulty autoride could be a safety issue a vechile which has no rear working shocks would effect handling!!! More
