Murdock Auto Group started in 1982 with the opening of our Murdock Chevrolet store in Bountiful Utah. In 2005 with the purchase of our first Hyundai dealership in Orem, Utah , Murdock Hyundai began. In 2006 we purchased our Logan dealership and in 2008 we bought the Salt Lake City store . For our Hyundai dealerships our goal was simple, have a Murdock Hyundai in every neighborhood. Now we want more, we want a Murdock Hyundai in every driveway. Service department tried to scam me I dropped off my vehicle for a routine oil change, and later the technician text me saying I had a “safety emergency” and needed to immediately replac I dropped off my vehicle for a routine oil change, and later the technician text me saying I had a “safety emergency” and needed to immediately replace all 4 of my breaks and rotors at a cost of $800. I thought it was strange that something like this would sneak up on me especially since they change my oil every time, and do their multi point inspection as well. I refused their services that day to get a second opinion and i’m glad I did. I went to another reputable shop and they informed me that nothing needed to be replaced on my vehicle. All 4 rotors were in perfect working order and all of my break pads were still in the “green zone” needless to say I was furious. I’ve bought 2 cars from this Hyundai location and sold them 2 as well, They have totally lost their credibility with me after this. More

Great to work with I bought a car with Dave at a fair price with little to no hassle. There was some scratches on the hood that we thought could be easily fixed but latt I bought a car with Dave at a fair price with little to no hassle. There was some scratches on the hood that we thought could be easily fixed but latter found out that it required a much more. I don't live near Lindon so Dave made it possible for me to get it fixed at a body shop near my home. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Thanks Dave. More
