Murdock Auto Group started in 1982 with the opening of our Murdock Chevrolet store in Bountiful Utah. In 2005 with the purchase of our first Hyundai dealership in Orem, Utah , Murdock Hyundai began. In 2006 we purchased our Logan dealership and in 2008 we bought the Salt Lake City store . For our Hyundai dealerships our goal was simple, have a Murdock Hyundai in every neighborhood. Now we want more, we want a Murdock Hyundai in every driveway. We loved our experience! We were met by Stephan and so glad to get to work with him! He introduced himself and asked us what we’re looking for. We test drive a used Kona. He pointed out features, waranty, safety features and answered our questions. He checked prices for us when we got back. A new Kona was actually less than the one we drove. We test drove it and decided on it. We went to his desk and started the paper process. Stephan’s supervisor came by and asked how we were doing and if he could help. Offered us a drink. Stephan was very patient with us, very pleasant, asked about us and our interest. While he got the paperwork printed his supervisor checked in with us again and another salesman heard we were buying a Kona. He had bought his wife one and he told us how much she loved it. We were introduced to Clay who did our financing. He explained every option we could buy and was also patient and made sure we understood everything. He was very friendly and took time with us. Orem is getting so big and very fast pace. In our process of buying our Kona we felt like we were back in a small town atmosphere where our business mattered to all we worked with and met! I would highly recommend asking for Stephan. I have never worked with such an exceptional salesman! My husband is a veteran and Stephan checked with the manager and found that we qualified for a discount for his service - $500! We also got another discount for exceptional credit! I rate Stephan a 10 stars! While we were doing the financial paperwork they cleaned the car and filled it up! More
