I was told that they would need to give a $500.00 deposit and I offered to pay it on that Friday when they ran my information for the loan. I had to call back Monday as I did not hear from them. I spoke to Rosario, and she said the car is still there and asked if I would like to test drive it. I informed them I would be flying in to purchase, and I did not need to test drive it. She stated a manager would call me back. SUPRISE, no manager ever called me back. My husband called Tuesday to see what was going on, he was transferred to 3 different people before we were informed, they did sell the car AFTER they ran all of our information. 0 stars from me. The Service contact person (Ryan) was great! This is little like saying we sell new cars from $20,000 and the lowest car ever available is $41,000. Ryan did a good job explaining it but price matters. For the record, between personal vehicles and work, we have 14 ford vehicles, 8 of which were purchased in last 5 years. Whether I/We have 1 ford car or 14, Customers have choices and don't like to be misled. More
I recently purchased a used truck here at Murgado Ford. My experience started off good, and now I unfortunately can't say it stayed that way. When I purchased the truck I was told I would be sent over the 172 ford inspection, I have yet to receive that form. After a few days of driving my truck the check engine light came on. I went to Murgado to figure out what was going on. When I purchased the vehicle I was given a 6 month warranty to cover issues with the vehicle. They were originally going to charge me for the inspection, but after a conversation of how I have only had the car for 2 weeks and lights are popping up, they decided to waive the inspection fee. They found that the Evap sensor needs to be replaced and the airbag sensor. This is going to cost almost $4k in which they said they will not be covering because it is not a "major engine issue." With a damaged Evap I can't get my car smogged and a faulty airbag sensor can become dangerous for obvious reasons. If they had done the 172 inspection in which they still have not given to me, these issues would have come up & most likely would have been addressed prior to placing the vehicle for sale. The salemans I worked with when buying the truck was awesome and I have no complaints with him, I have an issue with those in a higher position than him refusing to fix their mistake. Be mindful shopping here. More
