This was my first and will be my last visit to this location. I arrived for my 3:00 PM appointment around 2:50 PM, but myself and several other cars were left waiting in line for nearly 30 minutes befo location. I arrived for my 3:00 PM appointment around 2:50 PM, but myself and several other cars were left waiting in line for nearly 30 minutes before anyone checked us in. The young woman who was handling check-ins walked away in the middle of assisting customers and didn’t return for about half an hour. No one communicated what was happening—staff were just standing around and talking while customers waited. When someone finally came to check me in around 3:25 PM, their attitude was completely lackluster, with no acknowledgment or apology for the delay. To make matters worse, after inspecting my car, the service team claimed my tire with two nails was “unrepairable” and immediately tried to upsell me a new tire. I later found out that the tire was, in fact, repairable. Instead of simply offering to put on the brand new spare tire that was already in my trunk, they removed the damaged tire and rotated it from the back to the front. That level of dishonesty and lack of care is unacceptable. The whole experience was unprofessional and disappointing. Valley Toyota in Union City Service Dep seriously needs to improve its customer service and respect for customers’ time. More
