Picking up my car I was told my car was ready to pick up. When I got there, it took them 30 mins to get my car. I’m in the mix of looking to trade in my car and get a new one, and that led me to making sure I do lot choose Oak Lawns Hawk Ford. More
Extremely disappointed. Terrible communication I never do work with dealers because I find them to be untrustworthy and price gouging. This was no different. My car took 2 weeks to be fixed — the length is not the issue given the holidays, but I was promised a week earlier multiple times. I was told initially that the work was covered by the warranty with just a $100 deductible, but later found out it was 2500+ in repairs. I had to contact them every single time (and multiple times each day) to try to get an update. I was not consulted before work was started. It was a complete nightmare More

Airbag Recall Service Fixed recall but didn’t advise of secondary airbag issue until I questioned why light was still on (after I got in my car to drive home). When I questioned, the woman asked me if anyone told me when I dropped the car about diagnostic service. I said no and then she had me talk to another service Case Manager and he explained that they just fixed the recall. If the light is on it means there is a problem with the airbag and that required $150 to do a diagnostic to determine problem then there would be a cost to fix it. If I had been told this when I dropped my car off I would have had the diagnostic done. Makes no sense to not advise up front the possibility of needing a diagnostic. Or how about call me while you have my car to say “hey we fixed the recall item but the light is on which means we need to determine what else is wrong ... there is a fee...do you want us to take a look?” Disappointing after feeling like the dealership had its act together when I dropped off my car. More
