I brought my car in for service due to a recall and told them about the related issues when I scheduled to being it in. When I dropped it off I asked for an estimate on how long it would take and was told them about the related issues when I scheduled to being it in. When I dropped it off I asked for an estimate on how long it would take and was told one hour. After four hours I called to check on it and was told someone would call me back. Two hours latwe they called and said it was ready. I picked it up about an hour later and they had not done anything! Issues related to the recall were still evident (guage was off, electronic readouts of mpg and mileage ro go until run out of gas were erratic and off). I didn't even go a block and brought it back. When I told my advisor, she said those issues wouldnt be related to the recall when they were the exact things listed as possible problems. A colleague indicated it could be but they couldn't get me in for over a week. It was already after 3 on a Saturday. I then dis a chat on line and asked to whom I could write a letter of concern and was told it could be handled through the chat. They said a manager would get back with me. But they did not know when. I pressed as to whether I could expect it that day (Saturday), the following day (Sunday), or the next day ( Monday), thinking I might have to wait until Monday since it was a Sat eve. They would not give an answer. Well, it is now a full five plus days later (chat was Saturday about 5 and it is now Wednesday at 8:40 pm) and I haven't heard a thing. They obviously do not care. I did not like the fact that the service rep tried to charge $30 per hour times four for labor costs. Saying my warranty company only paid$ 170 an hour and their rates are $200 per hour so I have to pay charge $30 per hour times four for labor costs. I Came in for an oil change and tire rotation and they were done within the hour. Great fast service! Told me what my vehicle needed for additional maintenance items but was not pushy in selling them to m were done within the hour. Great fast service!
