The salesman (Damien) is a knowledgeable, enthusiastic proponent of the brand (he drives a Lincoln), and he was able to tutor me on the many very neat features of the vehicle. He has also answered questions of mine that have arisen since I've been driving the car. I heartily recommend Napleton Lincoln Glenview. More

We should have what was coming as so many things the two salesman helping us (Tim and Matt) said ended up not being true. We were looking at leasing a 2017 Lincoln MKX. They had a gray one on the lot, but my wife wanted a white one, which she told them several times. After driving the car & calling back, Tim told her the lease we wanted would be "$614/mo", but that they would have to locate a white one. My wife asked if he could do any better & he said he could get it down to $599. When I talked to him, Tim claimed his manager (Nick, who we'll hear about more in a moment) said the best they could do was $614, but if we wanted a white one, the price now went to $628 "because the $614 price was only for the gray one in stock," which was never the case. We also asked many times, & were told each time by sales, that there was no disposition fee. Having just paid one on an Infiniti, this was important to us. They assured us several times that there was no fee. To make a long story short (one that has many "changes" like the price issue above), we finally agreed on a price & a car that they would locate. I wrote them a check for the first payment & fees, & since it was late on Tues., they promised to work on getting us the car first thing next morning so we'd have it by the weekend. As is their bad norm, no one called us the next day. We had to call them, and it seemed they were in no hurry to find our car or confirm its arrival. After many calls from us to them (never the other way around), they promised to have the car by the next day (Thur.). Arrived at 10:30 a.m. to sign the docs. I signed many preliminary docs (incl forced arbitration - reason enough to shop elsewhere), & then waited 1+ hrs b/c lease wouldn't print. After noon it printed; they hand wrote 2 changes: name of leasing co & changed the disposition fee from "N/A" to $395. I told the fin. mgr we were repeatedly told there was no disp. fee. He calls over the manager (Nick), who claimed it had to be written up that way, but that "you won't have to pay it." I can read & am a contract lawyer, so I noted that if I signed the doc, I would absolutely have to pay the fee. He then claimed it was incl. in monthly payments (it wasn't, and can't be). Then he claimed we couldn't change anything on the lease, even though they changed two items themselves. Nick was simply lying & insulting my intelligence in my own area of expertise. It was like 30 years ago in the bad old days of shady car dealers, which is what Napleton is. I asked him to show me where on the lease anything he was saying was true; his response was to say, "I'll just give you your check back. Sorry we can't do business." No, Nick, you were sorry you didn't succeed in pulling a fast one on me & ripping me off. Went that night to Wickstrom Lincoln in Barrington & got an even better deal from an honest dealer. Stay far away from these shiesters. More

Great Salesman!!! I purchased my 4 th Lincoln. Peter Radlowski was wonderful. He spent many hours trying to find the right car for me and he did. He went above and beyo I purchased my 4 th Lincoln. In my email correspondences, I stressed my desire to have a fair trade for my 2010 Lexus GX460 that I was trading in after just nine months and having paid about $27,000. Of course, I was reassured and told that they'd make it work. The trade in offer for the vehicle was way below $20,000, which I found insulting. Additionally, when the papers came back after me saying I needed a higher trade in value, they still showed the lowball offer. When I asked why, I was dismissed with something to the effect of "oh, that isn't the final number." Then why is it on the form? Was fully prepared to make a deal work with them, but their insulting offer and manner of explaining things to me was very off putting. Additionally, I wasn't told very much about the car I would have been buying. Wound up going to Fair Oaks Lincoln for a very comparable car with a lower price and a trade-in value well over $20,000 for my car. If you don't mind the hike to Naperville, I'd probably talk to Craig at Fair Oaks instead. More
