Chris I am sorry that your expectations were not met on this Jeep. All of our vehicles under $10,000 or that have more then 90,000 miles are put through a SAFTEY inspection to insure the brakes have at least 50% of their life left and that the tires have at least 50% of their life left. We also check for engine knocking and other signs that the vehicle may be on its last legs. The vehicles that do not pass this basic inspection are sent directly to auction. All other vehicles are put through a certified inspection and brought as close to “like new” condition as possible. Based on your mechanics inspection it does not seem that he found any SAFTEY concerns but rather signs of use that are common on a vehicle with almost 100,000 miles. Also the fact that he said the oil was a ½ quart to high is suspicious as there is not a way to measure the exact oil in a car without draining that oil out and measuring it out of the vehicle (we checked and the filter had not been removed to drain the oil). Further more if we had been trying to sell you a vehicle we knew was not suitable for sale we would not have allowed the vehicle to leave for a private inspection. I am sorry you felt that we wasted your day however it was YOUR decision to have the vehicle inspected and based on your decision to not purchase the vehicle it was obviously not a waste of time as it influenced your decision. We wish you the best of luck in finding a vehicle that meets your needs, price point, and criteria and are sorry that we can not do business together at this point. If you wish to have further discussion about this issue please feel free to contact me at the store. Thank you. Peter Gioulos General Manager

It was a waste of my time because I (and anyone searching for a used car) would appreciate to know if the car needed repairs before buying it. I would have liked to know the car needed thousands of dollars worth of repairs to ensure it drove a thousand miles in the next week. Also, a car leaking oil is certainly not safe because the engine could burnout and cause An accident on the highway. Leaking oil could cause a fire under the hood. Objects in both rear tires could case blowouts on the highway, that doesnt sound too SAFE to me You may think this car is "safe" however It is my personal opinion that that is not SAFE. My experience has clouded my opinion of your dealership and I just wanted to let others know that buying a used car from you could require major repairs.
