Ray Silvka told me don’t need me as a customer I’m a car girl and I usually get a new car every 2 years. I’m letting everyone know to avoid Napeloton’s they own 7 different locations, I bought and I’m a car girl and I usually get a new car every 2 years. I’m letting everyone know to avoid Napeloton’s they own 7 different locations, I bought and returned a car in two weeks. I was told by Ray Silvka (sales manager) he didn’t need me as a customer, he sells x( I can’t remember the exact number) of cars a month and this is just another, after they made numerous mistakes. The best part is that all these conversations were recorded by their corporate office, I was told that she has to remind this men what if someone spoke to your daughter that way? Really? I was told that everything they did was wrong, she (Danielle) customer service apologized. Here’s the story the last week of March I go up to Napleton’s to meet with Robert to test drive a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Silver with 8 miles on it after my drive I notice 3 scratches that need to be fixed before I purchase this car. I’m promised by the sales manager Adam Grubbs of course we don’t sell brand new cars with scratches like that we will take care of it, I would hope not 😂. I say ok I’ll take the car but I want to make sure no scratches are on the car, ok no worries. I drive up to the dealer a couple days later to make sure the scratches are not on the car and I’m told we have it at the body shop having the scratches being repaired, ok great. I was supposed to go picOn Friday April 6 around 7 I go to Napleton’s to buy this Jeep and my salesmen wasn’t working so Tina helped me while she was helping her other customer ok this is great. Michael and I sit down with her and I tell her about the car that Robert and Adam were working with me so the car is ready to go, Tina says “ok” and goes to talk to Adam. Tina comes back with some papers, keys, Jeep Manuel I fill out the paper and she leaves again. I take Michael out to see the car because he hasn’t seen the car yet, and the first thing that I see is 232 miles and I say to him is when I test drive the car it had 8 miles he says they sent it to the body shop and I said the body shop in flipping Wisconsin? The nice guy he is “he says it’s only miles and you can’t find a silver one anywhere so let’s just finish this up” I’m aggravated it’s because why does the car have over 200 miles? Let’s fast forward one hour of me having coffee thinking about the miles, where did this car go? I now go into finance to meet with Chris Wilhelm at 8:30 Michael leaves to pick up Lexi all good, Tina my saleswomen is with me also. We start chatting when he gives me the mileage sheet why are the miles so high? I then say are the scratches even fixed? Tina and I go outside to find out the scratches are still on the car! I come inside and I’m pissed. Chris calls on the phone to the sales manager Adam (he’s a couple offices down) I hear well she’s asking now. Now Adam and I had communicated on the phone multiple times before this so he should’ve came to Chris’s office and explained the “story” instead of having Chris do it another crap move. The story goes a upper management person of Napleton’s in Downers Grove came up and took the car for their demo and put the miles on the car so it never went to the body shop. I say great, so smashed fries in the back seat, he said no the Napleton’s only give demos to upper management he’s worked for them for 25 years and had a demo for 20 years till they changed it and hasn’t had one the last 5 years and let me tell you this guy should have a demo working with a new car manager Adam Grubbs and General manager Ray Silvka. I say no deal and I’m not buying this car! 😡 Chris says I’ll give you the net, and fold over (covers items in the back) oil changes, synthetic tire rotation I finally agree, I leave around 9:30 and Adam never came and apologized for the scratches. Chris says 2 days for the scratches to be repaired and a Jeep Grand Cherokee to drive. Tina and I do a brief go over the car it is late she pairs my phone and so on we leave at the same time. On Saturday I schedule to take my car in for the scratches talk to a nice guy named Doug. On 4/9 I bring my Jeep to Napleton’s for the scratches and Doug the customer service man says I’m sorry we don’t have any Jeeps but I’m going to get you a rental ok so we walk over to Enterprise and I’m put into a Chevy impala. My 2 day repair turns into on the 3rd day someone in the service department calling me and telling me that the weather is going to prolong it a day. I had received a email from Jody Adams (General manager) about customer service, so I called but I got Ray Silvkla (sales manager) I explain my frustration about my car from the beginning he tells me he sales staff would never lie, he talked to me like a piece of xxxx putting it nicely, he sells all these cars a month I had to tell him he doesn’t sell anything the salesmen do. He said you sound very upset I said yea I am because u keep telling me how great you are and how your staff did nothing wrong? I said I should’ve bought it from Larry Roesch like I was going to, then he says they wouldn’t give you this price, and service? Yea Napleton’s I should pay for the xxxx show you run over there, this is after the fact. He tells me how he doesn’t need a customer like me and I should just return the car. He tells me he’s going to look into some things and call me back. He called me back and that was just more of his Ok, his staff did nothing wrong. He has so many happy customers so he’s doing something right, well obviously not with me, No apology. He told me again to return the car I’ll return the car oops you have the car so I’ll return the spare key on Thursday morning. I now have to have someone pick me up in Arlington Heights because I won’t have a car till my next new car comes in. In between his two calls I called Larry Roesch and talked to the most professional salesmen Sean and already had him working on getting a silver Jeep in the works! I go in Thursday to get my refund check and greeted by the girl at the desk and told that Jody does come in the office even with his broken leg so I could’ve spoke with him, and then I ask for Chris in finance he’s not there this is going to be fun! I get to deal with still at the front desk, I said I’m returning the car he says I didn’t think Ray was serious I said oh yea so he says can I call him sure call him so he comes back and says ok. I give him the extra key he says do you have the other key I said no the car is still being serviced for the scratches he said ok then he says how did you pay for the deposit? I paid by check, well we don’t know if it cleared? (It has been a week so the check has cleared) he says can you look up the check and get a copy of the check and email it to the receptionist so this can move quicker then us calling our bank to make sure it has moved quicker, sure why not I’ve done everything else for you guys and you don’t know how to do anything. He brings the car to the front now this is almost 20 mins later so I can get my couple things out my rosary, and sunglasses. I say when will the check be ready oh we need 2 people two sign it and their not here so not till later. You would think Ray would’ve had that check ready for me since I already was upset with everything right, no but him or his employees make no mistakes, but he doesn’t need me as a customer so he really didn’t care about me at this point or really at any point so I say to Mark call me when the check is ready he says ok. I get a call around 2:00 that the check is ready. I go up to the dealer at 8:30 and a salesmen asks me if I need help xxxx no if I would ever buy a car or anything from you guys I say I’m here to pick up a deposit check and he goes to the sales office. A couple minutes later who comes walking up little did I know but Mr. know it all cocky doesn’t need or want customers himself Ray Silvkla himself he says here you go Jacque O’Neill good luck. I said who are you? He said I’m Ray you and I talked I said oh yes I remember you very well and I walked out. I was so aggravated that how a sales manager would treat a customer buying a brand new car! It was the next day I found the number to call corporate to talk to Danielle and I explained the situation. Danielle told me that she apologized for how I was treated and that they did everything wrong and they didn’t know what to do to make it better? She told me that sometimes she had to tell these men what if someone talked to your wife, mother, or daughter that way? Really so you know you have a problem and it’s not corrected that’s great to know. She also said that she knows that many of them need more training on customer service and it’s not all about numbers! Yea it’s not all about numbers because you won’t have any numbers to count when you treat customers like crap! I waited a week to see if maybe Ray would call and apologize for his actions and the way he treated me and no, he left that up to the customer service girl Danielle to clean up his mess. Good job Napleton’s you suck at customer service, you lied multiple times and then you bad rapped another dealer and you shouldn’t do that either. I’m amazed that you wouldn’t care more about your customers then your numbers to make a situation right! Ray you should learn how to treat not just women but any kind of customer! Don’t buy a car from any Napelton’s dealer, if they treated me like this would will they do to you? Think about it! More
