Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. (Ed) Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Common courtesy is the simple philosophy of treating the customer the way we'd want to be treated," said Bill Napleton of his family's success in the car business. "This is something that my grandfather, Ed, and my father, Fran, had instilled into my brothers and I as we grew up working in our family's business. My Grandpa Ed knew that if you treat people right, offer them more for their money and give them great service, they'd come back. And you know what? Eighty years later, he was right.
Today the Napleton Family operates more than 50 dealerships in four states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business.

My wife and I decided we wanted a new 2 seater convertible. We decided on a Jaguar F-type. I wanted a one owner with low miles, light colored interior, and something other than Black, White or Red convertible. We decided on a Jaguar F-type. I wanted a one owner with low miles, light colored interior, and something other than Black, White or Red. Surprisingly enough I found 3 that fit the bill that were not base models. One in Chicago (2015 S (supercharged V6) with 10,215 miles) for $46,111, one in Arizona (2015 R (supercharged V8) with 9,911 miles) for $47,900 and one in Florida (2016 S (supercharged V6) with 9,256 miles) for $48,900. The best deal was the V8 in Az. 500 HP and All wheel Drive with the "R" vs. 380 HP and Rear Wheel Drive with the "S". About $6,000 to $7,000 of value. But we decided to go with the one in Chicago because we could fly out and drive it back. Our sales person Margaret took pictures of the car for me. I told her I wanted to see any and all imperfections she could find with the car. She sent me 4 pictures, one chip on the hood, a small scratch by the headlight, and minor curb damage to two of the wheels. She said she was told by the General Manager that the wheels were scheduled to be fixed and that the car was getting the oil changed also. Thur. May 6th I called to tell Margaret to let her know we wanted to proceed with the purchase but ended up talking to the Sales Manager Jeff instead because Margaret was off that day. We finalized everything and Jeff also assured me that everything would be fixed and ready for delivery by Tue. May 11th, the day we were flying in. I also asked Jeff to have Margaret call me and let me know what airport she preferred I make my reservation at, O'Hare or Midway. She never called me so by the time I ended up calling her, the fares had gone up over $120 each. I also reminded her about the wheels and the oil change, and she assured me it would all be done by Tue. We fly in at 10 am and Margaret is at the airport as planned. We get to the dealership and take a look at the car and everything went south from there. The wheels weren't fixed, there were scratches all over the car, looked like they got it in and did nothing to it. I was pissed! Three people at this dealership knew we were flying in to get the car, and not one of them followed through to make sure the car was ready when we got in. They took the car back and buffed out the scratches and said they had a wheel guy coming to fix the wheels. I told them we were leaving by 1 pm. We have reservations in Wisconsin and it's a 5 hour drive. I asked them for a $500 discount and I would get the wheels fixed at home and they said no, it was only going to cost them $80 for their guy to fix them. The wheel guy showed up at 12:50. We got in our car and drove away. Found out later that the oil change was never done either. Don't waste your time with this dealership. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER! More

My rating for this dealership is zero. I talked to this salesman about 2014 corvette that they had forsale we agreed on a price site unseen. And I said I thought we made a deal and he said we did but its not fault. So I called the Manger and he said in some many words O well .this is Very unprofessional how they treated me.
