I bought a used vehicle from Nelson Nissan on October 10. The buying process was great and we are super happy with our new car. Unfortunately, the dealership failed to submit the vehicle’s pre-registrati The buying process was great and we are super happy with our new car. Unfortunately, the dealership failed to submit the vehicle’s pre-registration information within the legally mandated 2-day window after the sale. Because of this, my paper tag expired through no fault of my own. It was incredibly difficult to get ahold of someone at the dealership to help me. I called October 22 and 23rd. Both times I was transferred multiple times until I ultimately had to leave a message. I didn’t hear back until October 26 when someone named Tyler texted me that they had made an error and that I needed to come to the dealership for a new paper tag. I responded immediately that this was not possible, and that since it was their mistake they should overnight the new tag to my residence. When I hadn’t heard back nearly 6 hours later, I called again. Tyler was unavailable, so I was transferred around again before having to leave yet another message. I called again an hour later and was put on hold for 15 minutes. The man I spoke to admitted that forgot he had put me on hold, but that they would overnight my new paper tag the next day. It has been 4 days and I still haven’t received the paper tag, but I did get an email that pre-registration was done, so at least they did something. More
