People are very friendly, but, she has called too many times to check up on my status of purchasing a vehicle. Most of the experience was good, but I was given better pricing at another VW dealership - both for sales and service. I am moving into the Schenectady area and would like to re-establish. The other suggestion I have, is that I'd like to see more coupons/savings on amenity parts like car mats, etc. These are so highly priced that I and others often go to the Internet. It would definately be good for the dealership to establish and keep customers by periodically discounting these to get customers back in. More
This is our second purchase from Nemer VW. The first was a used VW Beetle and most recently a new 2010 Jetta Sportwagen. Nemer VW has been the only dealerships in the area willing and able to work with us t a used VW Beetle and most recently a new 2010 Jetta Sportwagen. Nemer VW has been the only dealerships in the area willing and able to work with us trying to get financed. Our experience both times have been wonderful. The sale was fast and straight forward. The customer service was pleasant, curtious, understand and ...fun. We would recommened Nemer VW to anyone. More
I have been to Nemer a number of times and each time I visited you the persons I have dealt with have been excellent to me. No pressure to buy just information on the car I was looking at. Overall the customer service is good, but I have talked to a few employees that seem dull and give off an uninviting attitude, though it is just their personality, nothing personal. I've dealt with Nemer VW on many occasions over the years. I bought my first new car from you--a black 1983 GTI. Man, did we love that car! Next was an '02 Passat, fully loaded with the 6-cylinder e years. I bought my first new car from you--a black 1983 GTI. Man, did we love that car! Next was an '02 Passat, fully loaded with the 6-cylinder engine and all wheel drive. We've had Audis and BMWs and lots of nice cars, but we've never gotten as many unsolicited compliments on a car as we did on that one. Our most recent Nemer purchase was a silver Wolfsburg Edition '03 Jetta--find a cooler, more sophisticated car for the money, and I'd like to see it. It won't shock you to hear that car dealers and the automotive industry in general have a pretty bad reputation, and we've had enough crazy experiences over the years to support that feeling. However, whether it was with your Sales or Service departments, we've always been treated courteously at Nemer, your people know what they're doing and how to articulate it, they know the products very well, and they've always been completely fair and honest with us. Who could ask for more from a car dealer? Well, a birthday card might be nice! (Oh, yeah, you do that, too!) Sincerely, Tom Wall More
I dropped my car off for 10k service, was greeted in a lovely fashion, was given an estimated wait time and was offered a refreshment. I had multiple electrical problems draining my Toureg's battery, and the service department stuck with the issues until resolved, and got Corporate Volkswagon involved to contribute the faulty parts.
