We bought a used 2015 Ford Escape 3 years ago. It has less than 135,00 miles but needs a new transmission and torque converter - an $8500 repair. We found out those are known issues with Ford Escapes of that year and that there are class action lawsuits in several states because of it, but no recalls yet. Although they knew that was an issue when we bought the car, they did not tell us. If we had known, we would have purchased the warranty or avoided the car altogether. We asked the dealership to pay for the repair because of that, and they would not. Now we have a car we cannot drive or sell back to the dealership. We are disappointed that they did not work with us to resolve this and don’t trust them to buy future cars, even though we have bought several in the past.. More

The service advisor (Orlando) was exceptional. He had patience even though I bugged him about the 8 week delay in fixing my 12 year old car.
