Poor Communication I waited 2 hours for an oil change because the technician that was working on my car left the premises! They did not inform me until I checked in wit I waited 2 hours for an oil change because the technician that was working on my car left the premises! They did not inform me until I checked in with them at 90 minutes. They said they forgot. it was a 7:45 a.m. Appointment. How many people get there that early. They should drink some of their own coffee! Wait a minute...they only have powdered creamer:( More

Toyota Care is great! Took my 2016 4Runner in for routine service. Jason was my service advisor and couldn't have been nicer! He introduced me to text messages instead of voice mail to communicate. It made the whole experience that much more efficient. I wanted door edge guards put on but had some questions. He got back to me promptly and had them put on by the time I picked up my car at the end of the day. Thanks Jason! Also-cudos to the shuttle service. Makes servicing my vehicles a breeze! A big shout out to Charlie! Always prompt and polite! Great job Toyota Service! More

Problem with multi-point check Overall, I generally have had a good experience at Newark Toyota World. However, during a visit on 9/2/16, the brake inspection indicated that I had Overall, I generally have had a good experience at Newark Toyota World. However, during a visit on 9/2/16, the brake inspection indicated that I had 4 to 5 mm brake lining in the front and 4 mm for the read brakes. The most recent break check on 11/4/16 showed I had 9 mm brake lining in the front and 4 mm in the rear. The discrepancy for the front brakes is troubling as I have not changed front breaks in the interim. I am inclined to believe the results from 9/2/16 as my front breaks are almost 3 years old. I called D. McKie and left a message about this on 11/7/16 but have not had a return call. I would like Newark Toyota Service to follow up on this matter as breaks are a safety issue. More
I got more than I bargained for I stopped at Newark Toyota on my way home with my VW GTI after I was told earlier that the turbo had been busted and the repair was going to cost me m I stopped at Newark Toyota on my way home with my VW GTI after I was told earlier that the turbo had been busted and the repair was going to cost me more than the car was worth. Although I stopped to review the available options to replace my GTI, I ended up acquiring a new Toyota Avalon Touring, following the expert advise from Adam, my assigned Toyota sales rep. The process of acquiring my new ride was a very smooth experience and Adam went out of his way to assure i got the preferred color and ditto the interior. I believe i got a fair bargain as a trade-in value for my GTI ... and most importantly, i'm extremely happy with my smooth new ride. More
