Awful experience! It took more than a month to get the replacement of the alternator. September 7th, 2022: while my daughter was driving our 16.000-mile Rogue 2019, It took more than a month to get the replacement of the alternator. September 7th, 2022: while my daughter was driving our 16.000-mile Rogue 2019, the car started to slow down despite her trying to accelerate it while a battery-shaped red light on the front panel began to flick and the car started to lose power. It was towed to Sutherlin Nissan. September 8th, 2022: Mr. Eliazar Cisneros said that a vehicle inspection was performed, and no problems were found, but the battery was changed, without cost to us. I asked about the alternator, following the diagnostics from Firestone, but Mr. Cisneros assured me that, in such auto parts shops like Firestone, they do not have sophisticated equipment to properly detect this kind of problem, and they tend to charge as if the problem was the worst one. Though a bit unsure about this whole situation, I felt relieved and supported by Sutherlin Nissan. Nonetheless, a few seconds out of Nissan, I noticed the same battery-shaped red light flickering again and returned to Nissan to show it to Mr. Cisneros. He acknowledged it, checked the warning messages on the panel, and concluded that the car was safe and the red light was just “a glitch.” 4. September 10th, 2022: On Saturday night, driving north from the Miromar Outlets area back to our house, the car began to lose power again. It was about 10 pm while we drove through Treeline Avenue when the accelerator pedal did not work, the car lost speed, and all warning lights on the panel began flickering at the same time, until the car completely turned off. High-speed cars passed us as my family and I tried to get out of the car unsuccessfully; the doors and windows were locked. We feared that one of the speeding cars passing us would collide ours as the emergency lights as well as all the car’s lights would not turn on. Then, my son was able to get his door open and we got out, afraid of being hit by another car. Without emergency lights, we had to make hand gestures to prevent other cars to collide with ours. Thankfully, the police came to our aid and stayed behind our vehicle to protect us. We called Nationwide for help but the tow would take at least a couple of hours to reach us; the police told us that that would be too long to stay on this place and we had to get the car towed as soon as possible. The police called a tow service that arrived in less than an hour and advised us to get an Uber or Lyft to go home and be safe given how late it was and to avoid any danger. This street is not evenly illuminated, so it would be risky for us to stay there until almost midnight. As soon as the Lyft arrived, my daughter and I went home to get our other car to pick up my husband and son, who stayed behind to check on the car being towed. The car was sent to a deposit to be taken to Nissan Sutherlin today for service. We finally arrived home safely after midnight, though upset and frustrated. Over the weeks, we struggled to get an update on our vehicle, trying to call service and reach Mr. Cisneros in vain. We had to go to the store to hear that the alternator did not come to Nissan. Finally, the part came but they could not find the keys to finalize the job. My daughter and son had to go to Nissan to speak to the manager in an effort to solve the problem and find the keys. We hope that Sutherlin Nissan’s servicemen be more professional and careful during the service to regain our confidence in their performance. We are in doubt if they overlooked the car issue and returned it to us with no further care. It is not the first time that we had a problem at Nissan. Recently, after we left the car for maintenance, someone forgot the lid open and the oil spilled over, it was a total mess. Our driveway was stained, and you tried to fix it, but one can still see the signs that could not be totally removed. My family and I do hope that you can take care of our cars and of us as valued customers because we are feeling annoyed and underestimated. We hope that you can do your best to solve this problem and regain our confidence in you. Finally, we would like to remember that we bought three cars at Sutherlin, and two of them are still in our possession. More

Mr. Arena was professional and a gentleman. I did not feel rushed along as if my car and I were just a number. I got an oil change w out a tire rotation took 2 hours and didn't even get my car washed even though I asked was late that day for work. Next time I'll schedule 4 hours for a wash and oil change.
