I gave 3 stars because I scheduled an oil change and they changed my oil so, they did their job. I also mentioned that I had a couple of concerns (wheel speed sensor and CV axle clicking) that I believed wer changed my oil so, they did their job. I also mentioned that I had a couple of concerns (wheel speed sensor and CV axle clicking) that I believed were covered under warranty when I scheduled the oil change. Upon arrival I was greeted by someone I assumed was a service department employee but they ended up being a 3rd party trying to use my insurance to install a new windshield. Annoying but not the end of the world. I was also informed that a $140-$150 diag would be needed to determine if my issues were warranty items or not. I get that people are in business to make money (I’m one of them) but the warranty was sold on the front end. I don’t need someone telling me that it costs $140+ to stick an OBD reader into a port or tell me that it could be the result of “rodent damage” and wouldn’t be covered. I declined the diag and 90 minutes later got my truck back with the oil changed. Job complete. If he would’ve mentioned the diagnostic fee up front, I never would’ve gone because I can get a synthetic oil change 10 minutes from my house for $85 dollars, never get out of my truck and it typically takes 20 minutes. I wouldn’t have to sit in a waiting area full of mostly upset people and watch sales employees and customers yelling at each other about deals that went bad. Anyway, my 2020 NV2500 has been an amazing vehicle and one of the best plumbing vans I’ve ever owned. Still planning on having my issues fixed under warranty but wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up costing me somehow. I’m looking forward to the warranty being over because there will be zero incentive to visit this dealership again. More
