Yet Sutherlin Nissan lied in their response in my Better Business Bureau complaint. They claimed that I offered, $20,000 for the car, which is not true. I was trying to purchase based on the Truecar certificate, which listed the car for $27,999, and the dealer fee of $999, which totals $28,998. I expected tag, title, and tax, but the tacked on reconditioning fee of over $3,200 was not included in the certificate. The rude, unprofessional, and threatening behavior of the salesman, Armstrong Chutkan, as well as the manager ignoring me ultimately led to my complaint.

Rose, As your job title notes, you are supposed to deal with dissatisfied customers. But simply saying "we're disappointed to hear of the negative experience" comes across as shallow and insincere as you don't address the matter in any way, shape, or form. As I said, not getting a spare key is preposterous for a dealership that tries to uphold a reputation of quality and customer service. Arguing that not getting a spare key would simply demonstrate complicity on your part in this disservice to a customer. ML
