I would probably just stay away from this dealer who has clearly still uses the how to sell a car playbook from 1998. If you do go to Sutherlin Fort Myers just stay away from Daniel (Danny Murillo). I reque clearly still uses the how to sell a car playbook from 1998. If you do go to Sutherlin Fort Myers just stay away from Daniel (Danny Murillo). I requested an internet quote on a new car asking him to assume perfect credit, 1k down, 12k a year lease. He said he could not with out seeing the credit first (Lie - it is very easy to run a quick lease quote assuming perfect credit). I asked again he said they can't give out that information even though I stated in writing I understand the numbers are subject to change and are obviously with approved credit. Now I contacted 2 other Nissan dealers, 1 infinity dealer, and 1 Acura dealer all who quickly sent over exactly what I asked for in a professional manner. He then asked me to please call in and speak to him I told him it was not worth the headache, it was not about getting the cheapest car just a competitive price close to home with easy experience and this experience was already a battle from minute one. He then replied with another typo ridden email that ended with (and I am not joking) LMAO good luck. The sutherlin group should be ashamed and embarrassed to employ a person as unprofessional as this. - As they say at Sutherlin LMAO good luck More
DISHONEST NO INTEGRITY I purchased a used car. in May 2019, I was lied to by the finance officer concerning gap insurance being necessary by the loan. I figured I would a I purchased a used car. in May 2019, I was lied to by the finance officer concerning gap insurance being necessary by the loan. I figured I would always be able to cancel it. I went to Nissan Sutherlin in Fort Myers and filled out the form on 10/11/201. i was told proximately 6 wks. I called in December, I found out it was not processed and I was insured it was being taken care of. I called, texted, left messages and emailed the GM Michael Spinazze end of Feb. No response. I advise go to another Nissan Dealer who can actually be honest and take care of you. More
Deceptive Practices by car dealership I was at the Sutherlin Nissan at 13985 Tamiami Trail Fort Myers, FL 3391 to get a new fan belt put on my Nissan Frontier truck. A Sales Man named DeSh I was at the Sutherlin Nissan at 13985 Tamiami Trail Fort Myers, FL 3391 to get a new fan belt put on my Nissan Frontier truck. A Sales Man named DeShawn Pointer approached me and ask me if I would like to trade my 2016 Nissan Frontier in for an equal trade of a 2017 Nissan Titan. Both vehicles had approximately the same mileage of 70,000 miles. I explained it had to be an even trade that my father had bought the truck for me I was disabled and unable to read the fine print. I trusted the Salesman even though be never discussed the financial details with me. He sent me over to speak to a Randy Moreno and he again stressed there would be no changes in the payment or the loan amount. I kept saying this is too good to be true. The Salesman and the Finance Manager also stated they would give me 4 new tires, a bed liner, fix the glove compartment and back headrest. After I returned home, I received letters in the mail a few days later that they declined me for loans. I had no recollection of ever applying for a loan I thought I had completed an even trade. I ask my wife to read the paperwork to me and found out I only received $5,195.00 for a trade-in on my truck that the bank had appraised for near $20,000.00 equality when I had tried to get a loan only a few weeks prior. I also found out that the Financial advisor had taken out a loan for $24,336.19 and charged me for a truck double the price that it was worth I was charged $30,209.00 truck that holds a retail value of only $18,000.00. They stole my Frontier from me and now I have a loan for double the price of the value on the Titan Truck. I feel they completely took advantage of me because of my disability of being illiterate and a senior citizen. I went back to the dealership with my wife Darlene and the financial advisor had no time to speak to me but came out in the hallway and made me stress my concerns in a public setting after I told him many times I needed to speak to him privately. He just kept saying it is the same you have the same payment never taking into consideration I explained I needed the loan amount left to pay the same as prior because I old owed $3805.00 on my 2016 Frontier Truck, I thought the transaction was an even trade as the Salesman DeShawn Pointer had explained to me before the transaction was completed. Now I am stuck with a truck I can not afford and when I went back the Salesman DeShawn Pointer explained my Frontier truck was sold in 3-days. More
