Worst customer service and sales in Florida. Deals made over the phone and text were not honored after a 2 1/2 drive to the dealer on OTD price. Based on a car that was advertise on Sutherlin’s website for 17000 I visited sutherlin Nissan in for Myers. I was shown a car, same model, year, etc, test drove it, shown all the bells and whistles, and th for 17000 I visited sutherlin Nissan in for Myers. I was shown a car, same model, year, etc, test drove it, shown all the bells and whistles, and then told that the car was $26000 (the price on the windshield). I was told that they were willing To give it to me for $24,000. I told the salesperson I had seen the same model and year on their website and gave him the model number. He said that was the car I just test drove which he wanted $24000. I told him the website indicated the price to be $17000. He said sheepishly, oh, that’s just to get the customer in. Needing a car ASAP, I reluctantly agreed to pay $21000 for the car that was advertised for 17000 ! I toke the car home, and let me tell you, it needed a cleaning...I found plastic utensil hidden in the truck area, the inside of the car was not cleaned and I found some sort of part that was not attached. To top all this off ,the front fender on the passenger side had popped out, which I couldn’t pop back in. The moral of the story is...stay away from Sutherlin Nissan of Fort Myers, they cant be trusted. More
DO NOT GO HERE! My wife and I have had a terrible experience, where the salesman tried to sell us a different car than we came for, the fees total an extra $3000 than what is shown online (not includ experience, where the salesman tried to sell us a different car than we came for, the fees total an extra $3000 than what is shown online (not including the extra tax and tag), and the "pre-owned certified" 2020 rogue SL that we purchased had coffee spilled in the entire radio, making the cd player inoperable. I will give the whole story below. My wife and I live two hours north in Tampa. We saw an online post for an SL Rogue 2020 with 22k miles for $17,183. The disclaimer says that there is a $999 dealership fee and tax/tags. We reached out because it was a great deal and asked if it was available. The salesman said yes, so we took the 2hr trip there. The sales rep showed us the car to test drive it and we noticed it didn't have leather like the pictures, marked as SV rather than SL, so we asked "is this the right car? We thought it had leather." He said yes it is the same car. We test drive it and he tries to rush us inside to " take care of the paperwork " We said give us a moment to talk about it and he walks inside. We proceed to walk the lot and we found the car we were looking for by the VIN we sent. He brings us inside to purchase that car and he says he can sell us the SV for $17,183, but the other would be $20,183 because instead of the $999 dealership fee there is $3000 of pre-owned certified fee and dealer fee. We were told that it covered a 167 point inspection that ensured everything was in working order. We finally said "fine" and walked out the door paying $22,762 with everything accounted. Four days later, my wife tried to play a CD and it didn't work. We were calm and called the person who sold it to us, and they said "Take it to your local Nissan and they will fix it. It is under 36k miles so it's under warranty." We say okay and take it to the local Nissan. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS REALLY MESSED UP! The Nissan here in Tampa says they can't fix it, because the reason it doesn't work is due to COFFEE being poured into the cd player and radio. You have to reach out to Fort Myers. We have to go back and forth between 10 HOURS of phone calls with six different people to which finally Fort Myers agrees to pay for the fix of $1700. The next day comes and Tampa calls at 11:45am to tell me that the car is fixed they just need to get paid by Fort Myers to release the car. They have tried to call three times with no answer. We call three times and finally get someone to tell us that they will call in three days. Now they are saying we will be without a car for three days when it is all ready. After five hours we are begging Tampa to release the car so we can take care of everything we need to and then they get a hold of Fort Myers. The manager of Fort Myers was unapologetic and didn't care at all. We have looked at our copy of the 167 point for it being "pre-owned certified" and right on it says the CD player is in working condition. There is no way for us to trust or believe that this car has gone through any checks or that any inspection saying "working" is correct. We have been wrongfully taken advantage for an incorrect fees totaling $3000 that we have asked to be refunded to which the manager has laughed at us. We let him know that we will be sharing our experience so that other shoppers are well-educated. He said that if we report our experience "include the price because it is a xxxx of a deal so it doesn't matter." The price of the car doesn't matter if there is no peace of mind of it continually working. If you are looking for an experience where you will be treated well, with honest, integrity, and can trust what you are buying then do not shop here. They have no concern for you whatsoever. More
