Unfortunately I didn’t calculate my side right, they talked to me, told me what we could do, was honest and upfront. They worked with me and my fiancé and came up with a plan that worked with our finances. For once I didn’t feel played or taken advantage of. This experience has restored my faith in the car buying industry. Thank you to Byron, you were friendly and personable. Made me feel like I was talking to a friend (instead of a boring salesman) during the whole process. Also a big Thanks to Lou and the rest of the team at Sutherlin Nissan. You have just earned a customer for life! More

I told the dealership that I could afford about $375 a month and showed them what I make at my current job. The BDC Mgr. said he wanted to help me by offering me a job at the dealership where I would make more money. He even said he would help with my first few payments. So they sold me a car for $501 a month. I went and did the drug test and application and I notified the BDC Mgr that I had given my 2 week notice. Needless to say it was all a lie. No job offer, no helping me with payments. THEY SCREWED ME ROYALLY. BUYER BEWARE More

Upset with initial purchase but GM helped remedy it. I've bought 2 cars from this location previously and only had good experiences with a previous sales rep, Carl. Carl was the type of rep that I expect I've bought 2 cars from this location previously and only had good experiences with a previous sales rep, Carl. Carl was the type of rep that I expect and I respected him.I believe in loyalty so I came to this dealership after visiting another Nissan in the area. I was not please from the minute I drove up: there were several sales reps standing around and ignored me, so I went into the building and looked at the cars in the showroom to see when I would be approached by one of the reps just talking among themselves. After about 5 minutes of being ignored, I decided to go to the desk to just ask for assistance. This purchase left me bitter and was less then acceptable; I am usually bombarded with sales reps, but it appeared that no one wanted to make a sale that day. I was flat out lied to, misled, and did not get the treatment that should be expected in the customer service field. I was very upset after a friend, who is also a sales rep at a different Nissan out of town, and another friend very knowable in this area, went over the contract with me and they were the ones who let me know I was not only misled but flat out lied to. Both contacts said they were fuming after I went over everything. Against my better judgement, In that anger I wrote a VERY negative review in haste before trying to fix the situation. After that initial review, Donna reached out to me the next day to see what they could do to help satisfy me and continue to keep me as a loyal customer; She was already aware that I had spoken with the GM Shawn, and he would be coming in later to discuss my with concerns. She had me set up a time for when Shawn told me he that he should be back in the office to speak with me, so she could get the car detailed and gassed up properly. I've dealt with Donna many times over the years when she worked in the maintenance area and was always happy with her service. Shawn was much more than accommodating and met with me face to face, which I respect . I insisted I meet with him specifically after my other Nissan connection advised me to do so since he knew him and said he was a reputable guy and will treat things the proper way (as this was the case). We went over the issues I had and he seemed to do the best possible to make things right, of what he was able to do.. As expected by any manager (like I have been in previous careers) he was upset and not happy to hear how I felt I was treated. He set me up with Jennifer, who went over all the features of the car, unlike my sales rep, made sure I got my floor mats, and got the vehicle protection put on after Donna got me the promised full tank of gas and had the car detailed.. My initial sales rep, Tyler, lied to me about the car (platinum Pathfinder) and said that it did not come with floor mats when I asked about it. He also was aware what rate my credit union would give me to finance, if I went that way, (since my credit union called while I was in his office with him) and said he could give me 3% less, after he left the office and said he spoke to someone in finance; the actual rate I was given was 0.21% higher than the credit union. This was not the only issue I had with him on the final sale, but the main one. He told me to contact his with any concerns or questions and he'd get back with me. I texted him and still had not heard from him in over 48 hours. I take fault for not reading over the whole contract to notice the "discrepancies" that we went over for the purchase as discussed. Tyler honestly seemed very charming, but dropped the ball when finishing the deal, which is not how I feel anyone should be treated. I do not fault him for his sales tactics, as this is expected, but the lies were not acceptable to me; possibly he was unaware the things he said were not true since he seemed very young. I would be willing to work with him again as long as he made improvements on his customer service skills, since I feel everyone deserves a second chance. Overall, he seemed like a nice guy, just made some poor decisions, from my point of view. It seems to me like Tyler just needs to need a little more training or refresher on how to improve on being a better sales rep, and I do not wish to see him lose his job over these "mistakes." On the other hand, Chris in finance was what I would expect a person in customer service to act.; I've worked in customer service for at least 22 years and know what good service is (Disney does not tolerate anything but the best, at least when I worked for them, and every job since has had the same code of conduct). Chris was very polite, professional, and all around good to work with. I believe he did a much better job with his customer service skills and respect him for that. There is an exception; no one went over my contract with me, like my 6 prior vehicle purchases, so I did not notice that the terms that were agreed upon did not match what I was told I was getting. I still would recommend Chris to assist you, but make sure you actually read your yellow contract before signing. I again recommend this dealership but make sure you do not buy is haste and insist that you are treated in the correct manner or immediately take measures to speak with someone who can help . Shawn, Jennifer, and Donna did a great job and that should not be held against the dealership. More

Another incident with Service Manager, intimidating! This is a follow up review where the Service Manager attempted to intimidate me, and refused to re-service my vehicle at my 2:00 p.m. appointment. I This is a follow up review where the Service Manager attempted to intimidate me, and refused to re-service my vehicle at my 2:00 p.m. appointment. I had previously filed a complaint against this service manager, when he saw nothing wrong with literally holding my vehicle hostage for 31 hours, 24 hours of which the service department never even looked at my vehicle. I filed my complaint yesterday, and received a response allegedly from the owner of the dealership. Please see previous review filed yesterday, February 20th, 2019. yes I seriously complained about the second complaint of my recent experience as to a motor being installed for the driver's side window. As soon as I picked it up and drove to my home four miles away, I locked the vehicle with my key pad, and the sound of the alarm had been reduced from being loud to a faint bleep. Therefore< I again called the service dept. and they could only schedule my appointment two days after the incident. Today, February 21, 2019 I showed up at 1:55 pm, and a nice gentleman prepared the car for service> I noticed no one within the service desk (unusual) and all of a sudden the service manager appeared. He immediately stated , "What are you doing here? You stated in you're review that you would never return here" I stated that the window repair was an emergency, and yet he kept carrying on stating " But I am the worst service manager, and yet here you are." He was profoundly trying to start a heated argument all the while I observed his entire staff standing directly behind him, as witnesses to the intimidation techniques. He listened to the sound of the alarm, and stated that his service department only went into the side door. I asked him simply "was this just a coincidence just after a repair the alarm falters. he stated that it was just probably and old alarm, yet he refused even to open the hood to look at the alarm. I asked him, "Are you refusing to service my vehicle. which he responded yes. His entire office staff and his service staff were there to support whatever he would tell the owner as to my invalid complaints against him in my prior reviews. It was all simply a setup to protect his job, and to create my image as just another disgruntled customer. I finally stated before I left the service area that his performance to intimidate me, and to protect himself with his staff of witnesses is beyond my comprehension, not only as a customer, but as a former executive in the service industry. Hos conduct today, would never be accepted or tolerated. His behavior was beyond any conduct I have ever seen, and it must be address by his owner, including being terminated from his position of authority, Just think of the example he sets for his staff, where intimidation of a customer. I am now in the process of writing directly to both the President of this corporation, but also to the Chairman of the Board. This behavior as with his past behavior as described in my previous reviews proves that this man does not belong dealing with the public or customers. More

If you want to go through a buying experience that you will hate make sure you go here. Multiple closer, chasing you our the door then calling you to ask you to come back telling you that the can do the deal at $X. This dealership is an example of what the general public hates about buying a car. We left and bought a CRV (Honda) from another dealership. If a 0 was one of the choices that is what I would have given them. More
