Horrible Service Department Crooks IMO. I had previously dealt with this service department on an emissions issue they told me would be $2500 and basically everything needed to b Crooks IMO. I had previously dealt with this service department on an emissions issue they told me would be $2500 and basically everything needed to be replaced. I fixed it for $180. Fast forward to today. I have a noise in the rear end of my 2006 Pathfinder I don't have the time to diagnose so my wife took it to the dealership. They called her back and after mansplaining what a driveshaft was told her it would need a driveshaft. Why? "The internal components have gone bad". I happened to be there so I asked what internal components and he start talking about seals in the driveshaft. I told him that there must be some miscommunication between his technician and him because what he was saying didn't make sense but he was adamant that it was the internal components of the driveshaft. Frustrated I said I would just come pick the truck up. I asked my wife to call back before we went to pick it up and see if someone could better explain what was going on. This time she spoke with Ron who again told her it was the internal components of the driveshaft. I asked him what specific components were in this driveshaft that would cause my issue. He doesn't know "because he has never cut one open but it isn't like an old 1960s vehicle and there is stuff in there or the aluminum would't be able to handle the torque". I guess engineer is a side gig. It gets better. He also stated that he went out and inspected it HIMSELF and that not only are these "internal components" bad but an aftermarket driveshaft has been installed, the shaft has been welded, and that the U-joints have been beat out of the driveshaft before. I guess most people buy these lies and fork over money but I told him none of what he was saying made any sense and that thought he was just trying to scam my wife and the conversation went downhill from there. I told him we would just come get the truck. He met my wife at the door with the keys. Maybe most of their customers don't have any mechanical knowledge or a jack but I do so as soon as I got it home I jacked it up. I have attached pictures that clearly show it is an OEM part (Nissan Part No.: 37000-EA510) installed at the time of manufacture (2006), that there are no welds beyond those from the driveshaft manufacturer, and that the u-joint show no signs of being beat out in the past. These people are either incompetent or they are crooks. I believe the latter given my two experiences with them. More
Went to finalize purchase. Car was not there. I found the vehicle my wife wanted, at this dealership, through the internet. I called Friday, February 7th, and talked with three different people th I found the vehicle my wife wanted, at this dealership, through the internet. I called Friday, February 7th, and talked with three different people throughout the day. The vehicle was a low mileage, certified, 2016 rogue, listed at $19750.00. The last call I received Friday was at 7:30 p.m. from Destiny. I made an offer on the vehicle of $17000.00. She put me on hold. She came back within 5 minutes and said that Jonathon could take $17500.00. I agreed and made an appointment for the next morning, Saturday, at 9 a.m. Upon arrival, I was assigned to a salesman. they were expecting me and I was very pleased. We began to fill out the papers and after 30 minutes it was brought to my attention that the vehicle was not there. It was in North Carolina. They said the weather had delayed the transport. I call my daughter in Charlotte and they had no snow! I was advised that the car would be certified so we proceeded with the sale. They were going to bring the vehicle after it arrived and was serviced. We had agreed on the down payment, credit had been run and approved. It was at this time that I observed that the price on the finance papers was approximately $2000.00 more than Jonathon and I had agreed on. The finance person said that they "might" work on the price but not the price I wanted. I left in a very perplexed state. After getting home in 5 inches of snow in Dawsonville, Georgia, I research the vehicle further. I found 9 vehicles that matched what I was looking for, except for color. Out of the 9, 8 were less and one was more than this dealership. I found two in West Palm with same miles, certified, for $18,250.00, which is $1500.00 less than this vehicle. This is very long but I would not deal with these people again. Phillip Smith More
