Brought new truck in to have a few things looked at including a highway speed vibration. After having my vehicle for several days, Paul, the service tech said it was a tire problem (I put different ti including a highway speed vibration. After having my vehicle for several days, Paul, the service tech said it was a tire problem (I put different tires on after purchase) even though the vibration was still there after they balanced tires and I informed him that the vibration was present with original tires (which I was clear about when I dropped it off too)... to which he basically called me a liar by saying "then why didnt you bring it in earlier"... to which I replied I have a family and other life obligation and didn't think it should matter when I bring it in... it's got less than 700 miles. I sort of had my hands full with my wifes multiple surgeries in the 2 months I've had the truck because, you know, medical issues sort of take priority over dealership warranty service. Anyways, another service tech intervened at this point, took care of the diagnostic fee and offered to assist further on the issue. I have not been back yet to get the vibration (and other issues) resolved, but when I do, I will not work with Paul. I was supposed to hear from a parts/service manager regarding one of the other issues but never heard from anybody. Concerned about how future interactions will go. More

After uncovering a wheel bearing issue in my Altima, they covered it under my power train warranty, even though it was expired. The reason being, I was there 1 month earlier, the other technician told me abo covered it under my power train warranty, even though it was expired. The reason being, I was there 1 month earlier, the other technician told me about the issue, but did not tell me that my warranty was expiring. When I brought this to their attention, they took care of everything, including rental car. Well done, Nissan. You won! More
