I honestly had not been impressed with the dealership in the past and had actually given it a few harsh reviews for the areas of service. I had been very disappointed to say the least but when I heard there the past and had actually given it a few harsh reviews for the areas of service. I had been very disappointed to say the least but when I heard there was a new owner and management I thought I would give it one more try. I have to say that it is ONLY because of the new Service Manager Jermey that after years of the same problem and not being fixed under warranty that my car is actually fixed! He is the only one in the last 7 years at any Nissan dealer that took the time to ride with us and hear the noises. He actually followed through on his work to look into getting the issue fixed even now that my warranty was up. We had expressed that we felt that both Torrance and Gardena Nissian service in the past had not only denied hearing the problem but then replaced cheaper parts that were not the issue claiming it was fixed as I drove home hearing the issue. It was mysteriously diagnosed by Gardena Nissian a month after my warranty and I was told it would be thousands to repair. I was angry and felt they had intentionally waited until my warranty was over to really diagnose the issue. I felt cheated by Gardena Nissian and considered contacting a lemon lawyer when i got a voicemail from Torrance Nissian, Jermey indicating he was the new manager etc. and wanted a chance to earn our business. After again them not hearing the sound😡 we actually took a ride with him explaining all the long term problems and sounds never addressed in our expensive 7 warranty. He was shocked frankly that these problems had gone on for so long unfixed. He made a promise to look into actually fixing the noises and smells, yes horrid smell the car made and trying to get it covered as it was never fixed as it should have been while under warranty. We were skeptical but thought we would give it a chance as we looked into legal options. I was convinced though even at that time that had Jermey not been there when we came back because the Mechanic couldn’t hear the problem “ and test rode with us we would have been turned away again. Jermey was the only one willing to go the extra step. We were grateful he just went out with us validating that “yes” there is a problem. Taking the car back and asking us to leave it as he looks into it. I want to say Jermey not only directed the mechanics on finding the issues but coordinated with Nissian directly to get what ultimately was a huge labor extensive breakdown of the car and extremely expensive parts repaired under Nissian goodwill policy. My car actually runs and sounds normal when I drive it which hadn’t been the case from literally less than a year after purchase. Jermey is amazing and single handedly restored our faith in Torrance Nissian and Nissian automobiles in general. We had a very low opinion prior after the years of issues. I think you have a fantastic Service Manager in Jermey. His friendliness, communication skills, respect, understanding and obvious dedication to resolve client issues is literally mind blowing, a rarity in this age. We cannot express how much we appreciated his help in resolving years of frustrations with our Pathfinder. We hope his style of going the extra step ( in this case miles) rubs off even more on the others under his guidance. Chis was also helpful and communicated what status was, kept us in the loop on things. We will now following Jermey wherever he is, as his promise and his word have proven to be something we can trust. A rare thing these days in any industry but especially in the car repair business. We hope you see that Jermey is the face of Torrance Nissian for us and many others now and you should be elated and relieved that you are in soild hands on that front. Es un lugar he usado sus servicios por muchos años y es la 1 era ves q me sentí mal atendido . Desinterés total por parte del personal q usaban el teléfono mientras yo intentaba hablarle.
