Disappointed! Went in for an oil change and was approached by Jason in service. He said among other things that my cabin filter should probably be changed. I procee Went in for an oil change and was approached by Jason in service. He said among other things that my cabin filter should probably be changed. I proceeded to tell him that the last time it was changed, the technician broke the glovebox attachment removing/replacing the filter and a new box had to be ordered and replaced, but it was done at a Valvoline Oil Service Center. Jason assured me that Nissan techs knew how to remove/replace the filter without causing any damage, but that if it was broken, they would tell me & order a new box. Later that evening at home I thought I should check the glovebox and it was broken. Mistakes happen, but by not telling me, they attempted to hide the fact that they broke it. I drove back next morning & told Jason and said to order a new box and get it scheduled for repair. I also told him disappointed I was in the dealership and going forward would not be able to trust them. The manager (I assume) came out to look at the broken box and said “well I cannot say we didn’t do it” and walked away. He never even acknowledged my presence. More
warranty questions I brought my 2018 Titan in to check to see if I might have problem that would be covered under warranty. The rear window switch works the reverse of I brought my 2018 Titan in to check to see if I might have problem that would be covered under warranty. The rear window switch works the reverse of all the window switches. I was told this is the way all truck rear window switches were wired. Also, I have some raised areas in the paint behind the cab. I took the truck to Body Works and was told that this happens after the cab is dipped at the factory. To correct this it would be necessary to slide the bed back far enough to sand the blemishes and repaint. More
