Also they had great reviews on customer satisfaction, which i found to be very true dealing with my sales person Mr. Antonio Figuero. Finally on Friday, the 9th of July, my wife and I decided it was long overdue for a new/used car. We went to Teddy Nissan in the Bronx and as soon as i walked in the door there was a nice young man named Antonio Figuero who walked me through the sales process with unbelievable patience and faith. I say this only because, my credit was not that great and the banks were turning me down left and right. Antonio Figuero did not leave my side for one moment even though his coworkers were getting through on their sales with customers that came in after me. The finance manger Julio Batista was also very great in trying to assist me with the loan. We spent four hrs there and Antonio was by my side the entire time reassuring me that i wouldn't leave here without a car. Unfortunately, the banks were closing and i returned on Monday. No matter how hard Julio, the finance manger, pushed the banks would not grant me a loan.I eventually got a cosigner by Tuesday and I got a better deal with a 2008 Altima with low milage for a great price. Antonio made my experience at Teddy Nissan very comfortable and relaxing. To my fellow consumers looking to buy a vehicle, I would strongly recommend Antonio Figuero, if your looking for a honest and hardworking young man if you want to leave with a pleasing experience. Last Saturday, July 10,2010, I leased my 4th Nissan Sentra. With out a doubt this was the best encounter I have ever had when renewing my lease. Antonio was not pushy and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. He was careful to explain all of our options, making us feel very comfortable. The situation that I presented to Antonio was not an easy one to deal with as I will explain further. Over a year ago the parochial school that I worked for closed down leaving my family and I with bills after bills unpaid which in return affected my credit score. Fortunately, I found a career opportunity that changed things for my family and I but, the scares remain and is really badly viewed upon by everyone and companies that would not give us a chance. However, at Teddy Nissan, Antonio and Wilson did not judge me by my credit score they saw the needs of my family and myself and gave us a chance to prove ourselves once again. I will never forget the feeling I acquired as I sat down as Wilson and Antonio spoke to me with much sincerity and explained everything to me. The dealership is located in the Bronx of NYC. The surrounding area is not pleasing to the eye when considering buying a vehicle. The scene outside fades away as you are approached by professional staff, willing to assist you, provide information, allow test drives and more. At the dealership, I had the pleasure of working with Peter Corcino. Mr. Corcino was a very helpful, knowledgeable, hardworking individual (he literally ran around everywhere to find me a car and any information I asked for). Mr. Corcino made the process of purchasing my very first brand new car a great learning experience as well as a very rewarding one. He did not press hard to sell unnecessary items/options nor play games as most dealers I've dealt with have done. He was honest and disclosed anything you asked for and or whatever he felt was needed to be known. If you have the opportunity to go to Teddy Nissan, go to Peter Corcino. He is one of the best sales associates that I've worked with after buying 3 vehicles at other less professional car dealerships. On a side note, Teddy came to introduce himself while I was present at the dealership. This kind man was a pleasure to meet as well, I hope other buyers may meet him too. Mr. Teddy, if you get to read this, Mr. Corcino needs a huge raise or boast up the corporate ladder. Only one thing that forced me to place the friendliness and overall experience at 4/5 stars was the behavior of the financial manager (individual who processed the payments for the vehicle and warranty). He was knowledgeable, however, he was not friendly and approachable as all the other staff. He was somewhat annoying in my opinion. He was rushing information to me and yelling at other staff. Overall, Peter Corcino was excellent and my experience with Teddy Nissan was the best I've ever had at any dealership.
