Always felt treated excellent until now I've been going to this dealer for service for almost 3 years. I would say it was between 4.5 and 5 starts. After my last visit I felt I was not treated nearly as well. Before I continue, I believe the Asst. Mgr took care of me most of the time. I believe her name was Angela, She always seemed to be fair, reasonable and provide, in my opinion excellent service. I came in with an object in stuck in my tire. It was not in the sidewall, I'm 51 and have had many flats repaired before and this would was well within the tread area. (imo). Thought the oil was at 60%, and while I was there I also decided get an oil change. They always mail out coupons so I was looking in my car for them. After me searching in my car the guy came out and said he would honor the coupon. I thought great! I finally get to use one. After sometime he came back and said my car needed new wipers and a front end alignment and the tire was unrepairable. So with a new 200+ tire and everything they could fix it all for 400 dollars. I declined and said please just finish the oil change. He then returned and gave some reason they couldn’t honor the original price of the oil change because of some reason and I would get 20% off the oil change instead. Maybe about 10 dollars more than originally said. Arghh. The whole time I was feeling like just a dollar sign. By the way things were explained and just that gut feeling you get when your being sold. Well, the wipers were only 6 months old and they worked and looked fine. There was no “showing” me why they needed replaced. A good tech would have just detached one and brought it in to show were or bring me to the vehicle. Alignment? Well maybe, but the car drives straight as can be and the tire wear is good. As far as the tire repair. I drove over to the Sams club and they repaired it without question, for free and I’m 95% certain most all shops would have easily made that repair. So in the end I had my flat repaired and an oil change for about 40 dollars, after 4+ hours, and the honda dealer after all of these years of building my loyalty has in a single day has been greatly diminished. I am sorry for the poor review, but acting upset and dismissive because I question the repair-ability isn't good and worry about the older people with less income that may visit. I mean, when I questioned it you should have just said I understand, our shop won't repair it but another may, but at least act like my knowledge is respectable. More
