Well worth the trip I wish I could tell you it was a bad experience ... but it wasn't. We had already been to another dealership that seemed to care less that we were ev I wish I could tell you it was a bad experience ... but it wasn't. We had already been to another dealership that seemed to care less that we were even there. Unreal because you would think someone would want a sale ... and we knew what we were looking for, and were ready to buy. But - because of their standoffish attitude, we left and drove all the way from Estro to Port Charlotte Honda. Yes ... I know - there are other Honda dealerships between those two locations; but I talked to their Internet Manager Britni, and got a good feeling from her - so off we went. Got out of our car and we were warmly greeted by Jimmy who asked how he could help, and proceeded to tell us everything and then some about each vehicle we inquired about. Plenty of info .. .no pressure or BS. We couldn't decide between the CRV and the HRV, and Jimmy put both cars side by side for us so went could go over each, make our comparisons, and make our decision. Then it came to price. The first thing I said to him was ... please do not waste my time, I just want the best and final with no hassle. And that's exactly what I got. After we worked with Jimmy, we went to talk to Dustin in finance ... and he was just as nice. The place closes at 5 and now it's well after that, but Dustin never made us feel rushed because he wanted to go home. He went over every piece of paper, answered all of our questions, and was very detailed. We really appreciated that. Now it's getting late and we go to leave ... and there is Jimmy - waiting for us in the lot to give us the keys to our car, make sure we are happy with the way it looked, and to thank us for our business. I'm sorry others had a bad experience here; certainly not what someone wants or expects. But that wasn't the case at all for us. Was it worth the drive - absolutely. Going to Port Charlotte Honda/VW is hands down the best car buying experience you'll ever have. I became a customer a year ago and wasn't in the best situation. They worked hard for me and got me into a 2014 VW Tiguan. A year later I'm sitting here in a 2017 VW Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition. Dallas Godwin is the best Salesman bar none. He's open, transparent, and so honest. You truly feel like you're getting the best deal and that your best interests are at heart with Dallas. The best part is the team effort and I cannot say I'd be where I'm at without the help of Josh Johnston and Jose Figueroa. I don't think anyone at Port Charlotte Honda VW would disappoint you.
