David Jaber's Da Man!!! David was so awesome in every way. Dishonest I was so excited to buy my 16 year old a car, and I thought I found the perfect car for her. I found a few problems (oil overfilled, sunroof seal prob I was so excited to buy my 16 year old a car, and I thought I found the perfect car for her. I found a few problems (oil overfilled, sunroof seal problem, fresh scratches on the bumper, suspension issue) that I asked to be fixed before I purchased the car, after repeatedly telling Mike that I was putting my 16 year old behind the wheel and safety was my BIGGEST concern. All the issues that I had were addressed but one, a sway in the rear of the car when running over an bumps. Service called me to tell me it was ready, so I inquired about that particular problem and was told they did not know what I was referring to but they would check. The car was then taken to Firestone (which I called and confirmed) for an alignment check (the alignment wasn't an issue). I was assured there was nothing wrong with car and it was fine. I had already signed my financing paperwork trusting that I would be told the truth, because after all car salesmen are so honest, right? Well I decided to take it to the Hyundai Dealer in Green to see what the real problem was, or if I was just crazy. I about fell on the floor. I had a third mechanic, a family trusted mechanic look it and he confirmed that Northcoast had "pad-slapped" the brakes. The rotors were sanded to make them look nice, but rusted from the inside out and there was a different set on the left than the right and yeppers, they put brand new brakes on them so it would look good. He placed the car on the rack and was not even able to spin the back tire. I had to have all four rotors replaced, and brakes. That's not all, 10 lightbulbs were out, including yellow bulbs that were supposed to be white. Why you ask? Well the lights out in the rear were broken during the painting that Northcoast did on the scratches on the rear bumper. How can you tell? There's still painters tape on them. I called and text, was asked to write an email by Mike so he could inquire up the chain. You can probably guess what happened......nothing. No response from Mike, or Miguel. I also signed my paperwork on 2/15/2019 and now have another inquiry from another finance company from 2/26/2019 after I explicitly told them I was already financed through Capital One and didn't want my credit run through any other companies. I have never purchased a vehicle from any other dealer but Ron Marhofer and I am so sorry that I thought I would save a few bucks and try Northcoast. I am a hardworking Mom of three with two jobs and college and all I wanted was a safe vehicle for my kid to get to school and practice. You get what you pay for. Safety checks are a part of Ohio State Lemon Laws, and if their mechanic didn't see the problem here he shouldn't be a mechanic. More
