BAIT AND SWITCH IS ILLEGAL IN OHIO You would think that a dealership on the Bedford Auto Mile would be motivated to do better business in order to beat the competition. I went in to th You would think that a dealership on the Bedford Auto Mile would be motivated to do better business in order to beat the competition. I went in to the showroom late in the afternoon, there was no other customers in the place. I told the salesman that I wanted to look at the 2004 Volvo XC90 they had on their website. I knew I had wasted my time with the salesman asked me if it was the low price on the vehicle that made me "want to go that way". When I said yes, he immediately informed me that car was no longer in his inventory. When I showed him that the car was still listed on their website, I was told that at least 6 cars were still on the site that were no longer available. This is bait and swich and it is illegal in Ohio to do this. I am making a report to the BBB and the Attorney General's office as well. All they are really doing is wasting their time and the customer's time as well. More
