After being thoroughly frustrated by the internet sales agents at this North Park Subaru dealership, seemingly making calls simply to meet a quota, rather than promote sales, I decided to take a different agents at this North Park Subaru dealership, seemingly making calls simply to meet a quota, rather than promote sales, I decided to take a different approach. One late afternoon, I simply walked into the North Park Subaru dealership, not knowing what to expect, and feeling a little lost: and right there was Chris Bell ready to assist me. I'm a 1st time Subaru buyer. I had done a little research to compare the various SUVs in the market, and this brought me to the Subaru terrain. Chris Bell made my shopping and buying experience flawless, unstressful, very delightful and magical. Chris is very knowledgeable, respectful, professional, and confident about his provided services. Above all he's genuinely caring about the customer. He got me to make a modest down payment on a Subaru that was in transit. He got me to test drive a Subaru Limited that evening, since a Forester,(my choice) was not available at that moment.. As the dealership was closing, I was outside awaiting my Uber ride. Chris made sure he stayed until my ride arrived, but my ride was cancelled. I had to place another request, but Chris kindly offered to give me a ride home. When the new Subaru arrived, Chris called me right away and I was able to bring the vehicle home that same day. I had this unfortunate experience about one week before Christmas 2020. Once I had decided on the two vehicles I wanted to test drive the day was set up. Just prior to arriving at the dealership the salesp Christmas 2020. Once I had decided on the two vehicles I wanted to test drive the day was set up. Just prior to arriving at the dealership the salesperson texted me and said the trim level of one of the cars I wanted to drive was not available and I could drive a different one. I told them that was unacceptable. The salesperson met me outside and explained what had happened and I asked why hadn't I been notified earlier so I wouldn't have wasted my time coming over. They apologized and no other attempt was made to resolve the situation (big mistake never let the customer leave without trying to get others involved to resolve the situation). I left and was notified later I could come back at a different time. I declined. I then called the dealership and spoke with a different salesperson and left a detailed message on what had transpired and asked for the general manager to call me back if they were still interested in selling me a car. To this day I not received that phone call! More

I purchased a 2021 Subaru Outback from North Park Subaru on San Pedro. The dealership was further away from my home than their other dealership but I was very pleased with the sales team. Negotiations were to both our liking and would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to buy a Subaru. More
