Picked up a used CPO Volvo from them and it didn't have the coolant cap secured, so on the way home it overheathed and spiled coolant everywhere. Then they messed up my plate paperwork so bad I have been left without valid plates for days that I can't drive the car. More

Low key, good price, good trade-in value given, no games We've purchased two new Volvos here. '11 and '15. In both cases they were low key and even offered to let us take the vehicles home over a weekend for a long test drive. Bought first for invoice plus dealer fees of $750 total (some was xx but overall deal was fine) with more allowed on our trade that I expected given my research. Second was advertised at $5,000 off MSRP and that's what we got with no hassles. Again, $750 fees of which $250 was "etching" which is silly but whatever. It's probably their least professional thing. Both were 100% trouble free and 18 months into the second still no trips in other than routine maintenance. They even let my wife test drive other vehicles when she's waiting on an oil change. The salesman we use is actually a little too low key. He acts like he doesn't care if he sells the car. Perhaps they don't make much in comissions and it's more salary there. My biggest complaint was that they stock way too many bland versions of cars (small tires, no sport suspensions) and way too many white ones. They are probably 40% white on the lot! More

I Took my 2002 XC 70 to Northpoint Volvo twice to have my transmission analyzed. I had done prior research on the problem and found that there was somewhat of an epidemic problem with these transmissions my transmission analyzed. I had done prior research on the problem and found that there was somewhat of an epidemic problem with these transmissions which were subcontracted to a Japanese firm from Volvo. The 1st visit was to have a updated software download done as recommended by a few "gurus" on the internet. That did not solve the problem. I wanted to find out specifically what was causing the transmission to slip and shift erratically. I was told that it would need to be diagonsed and the cost would be $98.00. I had this done, but it was inconclusive. The technician said that there was an internal fault, but he could not specifically tell me what it was. This is about what I knew prior to paying the $98.00. He said that the transmission would need to be replaced at the charge would be in excess of $4000.00. I was less than happy about his recommendation. I did more research and found that Brannon Tranmissions in Loganville, Ga specialized in repairing the issues with these transmissions. I took the car to Brannons's where he replaced the valve body and a few other parts for $644.00. Now the transmission works perfectly. I asked for my $98.00 to be refunded and the dealership refused. Mr, Brannon test drove the car and told me exactly what the problem was and the cost to fix it-$644.00. It is apparent that Northpoint Volvo lacks qualified transmission techs. It is apparent that Northpoint Volvo is concerned only about their profitability and not their Volvo driving customers. More
I bought my car new from this dealer. The vehicle had the fuel pump recalled. The Parts manager told that it was regrettable that I had this problem but did nothing to assist. They withhold information...like who is shipping the car you own/just bought. Hook you in with price..but after that downhill...miss promised timelines repeatedly. I'm VERY skeptical of car dealerships - we all know the stereotypes. North Point Volvo is a total exception. I bought a 2004 V70XC Wagon from a lovely gentleman named Tom Karwoski. After negotiation, I stereotypes. North Point Volvo is a total exception. I bought a 2004 V70XC Wagon from a lovely gentleman named Tom Karwoski. After negotiation, I was given a bottom-line, drive-out price, which was never altered - I paid exactly what I expected. I called Tom a couple of days after and asked for a copy of all the service recordsmy car from it's pre-sale inspection & shape-up. The dealership had done a oil change, and installed all new battery, struts and brake pads, just beforing putting it on the lot. Tom didn't even mention this when selling the car to me - it was just a happy accident I found out after I bought the car ( & later confirmed this with my mechanic that this was all done). The entire transaction was a pleasure. This is not your average shim-sham dealership. More
