Mark worked well past closing when I stopped in late to look for used VWs, never pushing me to make a hurried decision. I loved the GTI, but could not make a decision that night. I came back the next day and "Gloria" was still there! Mark helped with the insurance and registration. Before I drove Gloria out the door, he went over everything head to foot and even had the service manager in to make sure that something that looked out of order and was very minor was not a problem. After about a week of driving, the engine check light came on and I called service. I needed to drive back to Michigan on Monday, but the first service appointment was not until Tuesday. I called Mark and he said to come in right now! As a special note to swordfish lovers, he knows just where to look for fresh swordfish in Noho at five o'clock on Christmas eve. Thank you Mark. More

The short version: I had the opportunity to get the car for a little less at another dealership but bought it here because the service and experience was great. When your car comes with three years of service included, how you are treated when you buy the car is hugely important. Think about it this way, when a dealership is trying to make a sale, that is the nicest they will ever be to you. Now imagine the aggressive, snarky, pushy salesman at some other dealership is the nicest treatment you will likely ever receive there. That's why I stayed at Northampton VW. I should begin by saying that we had more or less settled on the car we wanted before arriving at the dealership. A few days ago we bought a 2013 VW Golf TDI from Rob Doyle at Northampton VW. After the test drive, we took nearly a week to come back to the dealership. Rob and others (Andy, Sue) were patient with us while we debated color and sorted out a couple insurance snafus. The sales process was smooth with price negotiations on the new car and the trade in taking about 15 minutes total. F&I was fine and devoid of unnecessary pressure and pushiness. Sue in F&I even got me better financing from my own bank than I got. Rob drove back and forth from the dealership to my office to drop off papers and my car. When I dropped it off for its initial state inspection and detailing, Rob brought to the office for me when it was done. Other than the detailing, I haven't had any service done there yet so I can't speak to quality of the shop and its repairs. Overall, I have no regrets or second guesses about buying my new car from Rob and Northampton VW. Remember you are buying a car not being sold a car. My advice to you is be an informed shopper and do your homework regarding the car, price, financing, and insurance and you will find people who will work with you to get a fair deal done at Northampton VW. This is the second time that I have bought a car from the Country family and both times I could have not asked for more. They honestly try to give you the best deal and they make sure you get the car you wan Country family and both times I could have not asked for more. I had negative equity on both trade-ins and both times they gave me a few extra thousand on my trade while taking a few thousand off the sticker price. Country has an amazing overall team working for them. My sales consultant, Jason LeClair, was extemely helpful. Shane Riddles was able to get me into better interest rate that I did not originally qualify for.They both did all that they could to get me a great deal. I was able to get into a brand new CC at a very low price. If you are looking to buy a car, I would highly recommend any of the country dealers. You will not be disappointed! More

Mark was great. He was very clear with his answers to all of my questions. Located the car I was looking for and had it delivered to Northampton Volkswagen within 24 hours.
