He was very open in dialogue, which allowed me to feel comfortable expressing my needs AND wants, in finding a vehicle. His attention to detail, follow through, and most importantly persistence for customer satisfaction is unparalleled. He is not the typical “car salesman” and functions in terms of real interaction. Poor Customer Service The overall customer experience is very poor. I purchased a $45,000 truck from NG and had a great sales experience. I brought my truck in for its fi The overall customer experience is very poor. I purchased a $45,000 truck from NG and had a great sales experience. I brought my truck in for its first scheduled service appointment for 5000mi check & oil change. I informed the service advisor that I had two other items that were defects in the truck. One was a defective seal which is literally a 5 min exchange. The other was to reset a setting that I could not find in the myFord system...again, probably a 5 min fix. The service advisor was not interested in hearing my request and informed me that I would need to bring the truck back for those items. Mind you I live 45mins away, and after informing him of this he condescendingly repeated his statement to schedule another appointment. The customer waiting area was also dirty with limited refreshments. I just relocated from Detroit to Cincinnati and have bought many GM and Ford vehicles over the years. All I can say is that NorthGate should benchmark some of the dealerships in Detroit where the customer is treated with respect and the dealer goes out of their way to meet their needs. The dealers also have nice cafe's with great amenities. When you spend as much as we do on vehicles the customer should be treated respectfully. More

Since the dealership was 5 hours away David arranged a meeting time and place to trade vehicles half way in between on his day off. He even went beyond the call of duty to later thoroughly search our trade-in vehicle the next day for an expensive ring my wife had lost in the vehicle the day before. Can't say enough good things of my experience with this dealership and its personnel. They deserve a Ten Star rating. More

Complete customer service!!! My wife and I went around to approximately 5 other dealerships before we went to Northgate Ford and were amazed at the LACK OF customer service. We had to seek out sales reps and even then, they all seemed very lazy about wanting to sell a car. We were in the market for a $12,000 car so it wasn't a huge sale but WOW, those other dealerships just did not even seem open at times. Now, we visited Northgate Ford first and were really impressed with Tom Schnur but not so sure about the car. So after looking at 4 other dealerships we decided to check out another car at Northgate. We ended up with Andre Singleton once we hit the lot. WOW!! One of the nicest and most professional men/sales rep we've ever met. We made sure to mention Tom so he would get credit (he was with another customer). By the time we spent time with Andre, a visit from Tom and the finance gal (Janet) we could not feel better about our purchase. Andre, Tom and Janet were so amazingly professional, funny and pleasant. It was so nice to have chosen Northgate Ford and feel so good about and during our purchase!! More
