Service dept. needs to be replaced with competent staff. Asked if my warranty covered the repair and was told no. Asked device advisor (when back) , found out he never even called about the warranty. Totally unacceptable. Now I have to send in bills and other paperwork to Toyota to get a refund. Pulled riding on a spare, needed a oil change and price possible change on a flat I had in the back of the car. Asked for a price on the replacement tire before anything was done with it. Waited 4.5 hrs with No communication on what was going on. Then when it was done was expected to pay almost $500 for one tire and oil change. Wasn’t made aware of piece before installed and wasn’t informed of any price match possibility, was just told yeah sorry that’s the price. Then on top of it all after pissing me off and paying, I open the back and they didn’t even put the spare back under the car. Just threw it in the back of the car. Worst experience I’ve ever had with customer and car service ever. I did like coming here for service until what happened today. I won’t ever be going back and know they don’t care either. Just hope they don’t rip anyone else off. Plus the service manager doesn’t return calls. More
The service department is one of the worst I’ve experienced from a car dealership. After scheduling an appointment for an oil change, it took them over four hours to accomplish the simple task beca experienced from a car dealership. After scheduling an appointment for an oil change, it took them over four hours to accomplish the simple task because they kept working on walk ins while my vehicle sat around. And today I was told my vehicle would be ready between 3 and 4 pm, but when I showed up at 4 pm the truck was still outside in the parking lot. When I got here and asked about it, they then decided to bring my truck into the garage and start working on it. More
Toyota Northshore Covington service department in TERRIBLE. Check with dealership to make sure they could take my sons truck and do a simple brake job, they said no problem bring it in first thing i TERRIBLE. Dropped off my sons truck yesterday morning at 8am for the job. Called at 3pm and they said sorry not done, but will be done first thing in the morning. Called this morning and was told still haven't started it. We said we want to come pick it up then so we can take it somewhere else as we need it fixed. They said "whatever" and literally hung up on us. My son and wife went there and they basically yelled at them. It got so bad my son actually flipped the guy off as they were leaving, this is a great boy that has never sad a mean word to anyone. My wife was screaming at the man due to all this. Just really unbelievable people can let people run a business like that, treating customers that way. All we wanted to do was pickup our truck and take it somewhere else, but they were completer jerks(that is the kindest word I can say with out getting starred ****** out). More
I have had better experiences. Took my truck in for an alignment. Scheduled the appointment online. Stated that I needed an alignment. Just a Luke warm body. I also noticed that the dealership has almost no inventory. The only reason I came here was because it is the closest service center to my house. I should have driven a little farther to Slidell. More

I checked in with Damien at 8:00 this morning for an oil change. He said it would be 2 hours and I hadn't made an appointment, so I told him that was fine. At about 9:30, I see my vehicle hasn't moved an inch, so I walked up to Damien to check on the progress. He said they were understaffed and it was going to be longer. When I asked how much longer, he shrugged his shoulders, smiled and said "your guess is as good as mine". I don't know how this place is still in business with this kind of service. I had him get my vehicle out of line so I could go elsewhere and went to see the service manager in the office behind him. The manager could only give the excuse of 2 technicians calling in sick. I told him there were several more customers waiting and the advisors aren't telling their customers this. Would have been nice to know this when I checked in. I'll be taking my business to Supreme in Hammond from now on. More
Very bad experience with service department do not go to Northshore Toyota. Took vehicle in for radio Bluetooth problem told I needed a break job was told needed air filter replacement. When service adviser called, he mentions it with a bunch of other things, and I did not catch the air filter part. The air filter that was in it only had 5000 miles on it. It was marked with the date I changed it and the mileage written on it with marks a lot. It was a brand new Fram top of the line air filter. They charged $37.50 for a cardboard paper filter. Spoke to Nick the service manger he sent me to George some sort of customer service expert. He told me that I approved the filter and there was nothing he could do. Anybody that is a mechanic could look at it and know it was a brand-new filter. So, the way I see it they stole and lied not good for a customer service business. Stay away from this place they are not there to help you they are there to make as much money off of each transaction and not to help fix your problem for a fair price. Honesty and integrity do not live there.. More
Fantastic Service Dept. Thanks for saving my day. On August 14, I had a Dr appointment in Mandeville. While arriving I noticed a loud scraping noise. My car had recently been involved in an accident. After arriving at the service department, a very nice gentleman asked if he could help me. I explained my problem and after he noticed me on crutches, told me to proceed into the service area. This great department, not only repaired the Air Dam, but did not charge me anything. I live in Hammond and did not purchase my car from this dealership. I'm sure they do not realize how much they came to my rescue. Im sorry i did not get any names, but a big shout out to these guys. Thank you for saving my day. More
