I was charged $225 in documentation fees, yet the paperwork and registration process remain incomplete. I was also charged approximately $390 for a “mandatory” tracking device that was never installed in my vehicle. To make matters worse, the vehicle was sold without proper emissions testing and complete paperwork. Despite multiple follow-ups with the dealership, Hyundai customer service, and TxDMV, the issue is still unresolved. I expected much better professionalism and transparency from a certified Hyundai dealership. Buyers should carefully review all charges and paperwork before purchasing from here. More

A true story of bait and switch. When I arrived, a different salesperson told me that the vehicle I had made a deal on less than an hour before had been sold. The new salesperson then said that they would honor the agreed to deal on an identical car that they could get in two days; I just needed to put down a deposit. I reluctantly agreed but said I wanted to make sure a manager also agreed to the deal. The manager eventually came over, denied there was ever a deal even though I showed him the messages where his salesperson agreed to the deal, and said they wouldn't have a similar car in stock for over a month. But, they could sell me a different car at a higher price before then. I walked out. I have never been the victim of such an obvious bait and switch tactic in my life. Be very, very careful if you decide to deal with this dealership. More
I went in Saturday morning 3/14 to look at a used rav 4 and worked with Eddie. The salesman and I weren’t able to agree on a price and I left the dealership. I received a txt a few hours later with an offe and worked with Eddie. The salesman and I weren’t able to agree on a price and I left the dealership. I received a txt a few hours later with an offer to lower the price and I sent a counter offer. Monday 3/16 I texted the salesman back to follow up and we came to an agreed out the door price. I showed up Monday evening and the used car sales director, John Pike, said he never approved the deal. I showed them the text messages and they spent about an hour discussing among themselves and trying to get out of it. FINALLY, they said they would honor the deal but that someone else was currently in the process of purchasing the car with another agent. They said they would only honor the deal if they current one did not work out. I asked the salesman for the director of used cars to come out and speak to me multiple times and he refuse. Even though he didn’t have any problem coming out to speak to me Saturday. How convenient… I asked the salesman for the director of used cars to come out and speak to me multiple times and he refuse. Even though he didn’t have any problem coming out to speak to me Saturday. After another hour of waiting they came back and said the car was sold. My wife and I had to hire babysitter for our 3 month old just to come and have our time wasted. More

Sales department is atrocious! Since 2001 I have purchased 7 new Hyundai's. I went shopping for a Tucson and had one of the most terrible experiences ever trying to by. I did my ho Since 2001 I have purchased 7 new Hyundai's. I went shopping for a Tucson and had one of the most terrible experiences ever trying to by. I did my homework, looked the dealers website and picked out a specific model with their internet pricing. Dealership is aggressive at getting you in the door which is fine, and I arranged an appointment for a test drive. LOVE THE CAR! Then came the bad.. their internet pricing was not honored. Their numbers while discussing price didn't even come close to their internet pricing. When I demonstrated the online price they just stopped and stated they couldn't sell the car for that price. Worse, they had $3,999 in extras added to the car which was not disclosed prior to arrival. Didn't ask for these extras (ie seat coat protection, paint protection, etc). Combine their inability to honor their own internet pricing with these hidden fees and you have a dealership that at best is dishonest, if not out right criminal in their deception. Their are several good dealerships in the Houston area and I have used at least 3 of them previously. Love Hyundai, but this dealership can not be recommended. More
Please read “43 Tex. Admin. Code § 215.250 - Dealer Price Advertising; Savings Claims; Discounts” before going to this dealer. I won’t tell you to buy here or not to buy Admin. Code § 215.250 - Dealer Price Advertising; Savings Claims; Discounts” before going to this dealer. I won’t tell you to buy here or not to buy here. I will tell you I offered the asking price, tax, title and license plus a reasonable document fee and they refused to sell me the vehicle. They refused to sell the vehicle without the Hyundai Preferred package - or whatever they called it. It’s a bad deal in my opinion and I had zero interest. They also refused to provide business cards (preferring to use nicknames) and to provide me a printed breakdown of their “best price” of $23k on an $18k car. The whole encounter was very deceptive. With that - I don’t know that you will have the same experience. Read the law and make a decision that is best for you. Hopefully you have a better experience than I did where the floor manager explained to me that he’s unfamiliar with the state law because it doesn’t matter - every dealer operates this way. I disagree, state law does matter to the consumer. I also think that “everyone is doing it so it’s ok” means I was in a place where I didn’t really want to do business. In fairness to them - I wouldn’t have wanted to sell me a car either following my poor reaction to their original $5000 ask for a paint and glass warranty that also tracks you, later offered at roughly $2700. Also, sales guy was cool. Not mad - just too broke to be deceived and taken advantage of More
I purchased my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe in April/May of 2025 (not from Northwest Hyundai, but they are my local dealer). From day one, the vehicle had a small crack in the driver seat leather, which I noticed i (not from Northwest Hyundai, but they are my local dealer). From day one, the vehicle had a small crack in the driver seat leather, which I noticed immediately after bringing it home with under 100 miles on it. On top of that, my Blue Link has not worked since June. When I brought both issues to Northwest Hyundai, I was told a claim would be submitted to Hyundai for the seat. Later, I was informed that it was “denied.” After calling Hyundai America directly, I found out that no case was ever submitted at all — the Service Manager simply decided it wouldn’t be approved. That is not acceptable. A dealer’s job is to advocate for the customer, not to make warranty decisions on their own. As for Blue Link, I was told they needed the car for a few days and that I would be provided with a rental. That was back on August 25th. Since then, I have been called in multiple times for “tests” that led nowhere, still no working Blue Link, and no rental vehicle ever provided. The Service Advisor does not return my messages, provides no updates, and the General Manager has not responded to my emails either. This is my fourth Hyundai. I like the vehicles overall, but it is frustrating that every new Hyundai I have owned comes with issues — and what makes it worse is when a dealership gives customers the runaround instead of solutions. It has now been almost a month with no progress, no resolution, and no accountability from this dealership. Completely unacceptable experience. More
If I could give this dealership a 0 out of 5 starts, I would! My husband had been in contact with Matthew for a week or so about a vehicle. The numbers were set, trade-in was guaranteed, and credit app wa would! My husband had been in contact with Matthew for a week or so about a vehicle. The numbers were set, trade-in was guaranteed, and credit app was completed before we left our state to head to Houston. Once we arrived, all of the information that was guaranteed went out of the window! Matthew started talking politics, which is an instant no from me, and went back and forth with financing to "work out the numbers". We sat, and sat, and sat. After we were told it would be a short wait for financing, the finance guy came out and tried to urge me to co-sign on the vehicle, which I had no intention of doing, and then lied about the household income. We were told for an hour and a half it would only be a short wait, but once we got back to finance we realized we had been lied to for 3 hours. Even though my husband had completed al of the paperwork beforehand and worked out numbers, he had to redo it all and somehow the numbers magically changed from the literal day before and the montly payment jumped upped over $200 from the price he was told somehow. The finance guy, Gerc, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He lied and caught attitude when we didn't feed into what he was telling us and talked down to both of us as if we were children that had never purchased a vehicle before. I walked out and my husband followed. I would NOT recommend this dealership unless you like wasting your entire day and being lied to every breath! More
Had a terrible experience with this dealership this afternoon. They have no respect for your time or trust. I confirmed multiple times, including the morning of my appointment and just before startin afternoon. They have no respect for your time or trust. I confirmed multiple times, including the morning of my appointment and just before starting my drive to the dealership, that the Mazda I was interested in was available and that on-site inspections were allowed. After driving an hour and bringing my mechanic, the sales associate first told me inspections weren’t allowed, then admitted the car had actually been sold this morning. Mind you, someone from their team had messaged me 10 minutes before I arrived at the dealership that they were ready for my appointment. The manager then came to talk to us. He just blamed the online team and the website instead of taking any responsibility or even apologizing for giving us straight up wrong information. I ended up wasting time and money on my mechanic who had traveled to the lot. The experience felt very disrespectful. I wish I had read all the negative reviews before going in. More
