He listened to all of my concerns and had solutions to help me make my decision. We test drove our cars and he explained all about them so we could get the feel for them. Ed Tarbox happened to be in the building on our second visit and sat with us while we were waiting. Ed is a great guy and we are very happy that we went to his dealership. We are very satisfied. Bunch of liars Let me start of by saying I have purchased 2 cars from these guys and just went in today to possibly buy another. On the last vehicle I bought they to Let me start of by saying I have purchased 2 cars from these guys and just went in today to possibly buy another. On the last vehicle I bought they told me that they would be wholesaling out (auction) my trade in because it wasn't worth much. Silly me, I believed them. Sure enough, the next day, the truck I used as a trade in was on the lot for sale at a price that was 3k more than what they told me "they could get for my trade in". Whatever, maybe it's part of the game they play. Well, today I went in to trade in my wife's car, which we bought from them 2yrs ago. We expressly told them the number we wanted to be at per month. After 30 minutes of them running the numbers (with no other customers in the store) and having them appraise our trade in, which they did not tell us they were doing (just asked us for the keys & then drove for 9 miles), they came back to us with a number that was 33% higher than our highest number. Really? Like we were going to say "Ok"? So I asked them what the deal was & stop wasting our time. They told us that they were "showing" the bank 12k for our trade in but giving us 10k. Well that's funny because the calculator on their website told us we can expect between 12,500 and 14,400 for a trade in value from them. I told them their numbers were crazy. They told me that they would be selling our trade in on their lot for 13,300. (Just another lie, just like my last deal with these guys) That's funny, you guys have an inferior similar car on your used lot, right now, for 14,900. Ours has half the miles as yours (34k vs 63k) ours is an automatic vs yours a standard and our has an upgraded package. And you are telling us you will be selling ours for less than you are currently selling yours for? Really!!!! Needless to say, we did not make a deal. There is no honesty left in these guys. They have become the true definition of "used car salespeople" and the reason why the profession has a bad reputation. We went down the street and a competing dealership offered us 12,500 for our trade in. More
