Then last Saturday I stopped in at Tarbox Hyundai. That is when everything changed. I walked the lot and found a few vehicles that we would be interested in. Then I went home to get Jen. While I walked the lot no one hassled me at all and it was a relief. Upon returning we were looking around at the vehicles and Mr. Tarbox himself walked up to us and asked if he could help us. Well it was actually pretty funny because here is this silly guy from the TV commercials and he was actually helping us. He connected us with Jason and we were in business. Jason was very knowledgeable about both models and quickly helped us figure out what we needed. He quickly set up the test drive and before we blinked we were at the table talking financing. Jason brought Chris in to help and in 15 minutes we had a deal figured out. Once again we was impressed. They were not about playing games, they simply asked what we needed and expected and made it happen. It was the end of the month and it was extremely busy so we had to wait a little longer than we wanted to, we had two children with us, but it was not a problem. Mr. Tarbox himself took us to the lounge, changed the TV channel for the kids and got them water, cookies and popcorn. We could not have asked for a better experience while buying a car. Wait for it....but it did get better. We went in to sign the papers and finish the deal and we were totally impressed and satisfied with the financing. There were no surprises and no changes and no gimmicks and no games. The deal was cut and dry and exactly what they promised. This really shocked us. Signing the papers, to me, is the scariest part because that is when you usually get thrown for a loop. Not at Tarbox Hyundai. I was very happy with the total experience. Jason was completely the best salesman for us. He told us exactly what we asked, no fluff, and quickly helped us choose the right car for us. Then he catered to us throughout the entire experience and made sure we were always in the know and completely satisfied. He even followed up about a week later to make sure we were still completely happy. Chris was excellent too. He simply asked where we needed to be on the car and made it happen. Overall, we are completely satisfied and will buy our next vehicle from Tarbox. They are on top of their game and it shows from cradle to grave when you set foot on their lot. In closing I must add that yes, my wife Jen loves the Santa Fe and is totally enjoying it. This is our third vehicle we purchased from Tarbox. From the first time we walked in the employees have made us comfortable. Sean was our second salesman and he couldn't get us into the car we went in for (our fault not his) but got us into what was a real good match. This time we had Al. Man what a salesman. Makes you feel so comfortable and accommodated me with my requests even after all of the paperwork was almost done. Didn't blink an eye to give me what I wanted. We got just what we wanted and we LOVE it. I have to say even though we have never met the owner Ed Tarbox in person when he put his cell phone number on the commercial he really does answer when you call and he was very nice too. I tested him and I was very pleased. This is a dealership I would refer anyone to. The product, the personality, the comfort it all adds up and it is a very good package. Thank you Tarbox family. When I received a letter from the dealership about trading in my 2013 Hyundai Sonata I really didn't jump on it; so to speak. Then I began to think about. So I called Al, who had sold me the first car, and asked if we could come down and just talk. I had been doing some research on what I thought my car was worth and how much I was willing to finance and wrote those numbers down on a piece of paper. After looking at cars Al asked me what I wanted for my 2013 car. I told him and he went to do some checking. When Al returned and showed me the "numbers" for purchasing the new 2014 and said I could get my trade-in amount I was thrilled and my husband was surprised. I'm paying only $450 more than my original target. Al went to get the paperwork started and upon his return I showed him my little paper with my numbers and he was surprised! :0) Al is professional and wants to do his best for his client. Tarbox is a 5 star Dealership. They were very helpful and eager to obtain all options I need/wanted. They quoted me one price and were able to decrease it after speaking with a finance company.
