Knowing the stereotype of used car salesmen and being a very passive person, I was immediately intimidated by the idea of car shopping. After looking at a couple of cars elsewhere and feeling the pressure of the typical hard sell, I found myself at Rothrock a few days ago expecting the same song and dance. I was mistaken. My experience started out with Anita, who was incredibly personable and ended up with Jose walking me through every last detail of how my car works (and even surprising me with a feature I had not previously noticed). Unlike my prior experiences, there was not one moment where I felt like Jose wanted me to drive the car off the lot unless I was entirely in love with it. During my test drive I was able to drive the car and get a feel for it without someone trying to shove it down my throat. Jose answered any questions I had, but allowed me to really enjoy the moment while he and my boyfriend talked about some of their common interests. In case you can't tell where this is going, I left with the car that night and have loved it ever since. The following day I noticed a discrepancy in my paperwork; it was handled promptly and with genuine concern. The exceptional customer service I received at Rothrock took an already exciting event and made it a truly unforgettable experience. I now know why every car I have ever known my grandparents to drive has come from Rothrock. Thank you Jose! More
The First Dealer EVER That Prompted Me To Write A Review When looking for a very specific Cadillac ATS, I shopped hard online and was torn between a new vehicle and several year-old ones that I found. I called Rothrock and was greeted by a very friendly Jose Baret who worked incredibly hard to get me the information I was looking for. In order for me to go the used route, I walked into the dealership with perhaps an unreasonable expectation of what I was willing to pay and what I needed for my trade. If they played games or weren't able to work with me, I was simply going to go buy the new vehicle I had driven at another dealership. Jose was awesome, he and Kevin Doddy helped figure out a way to make the transaction work in my budget and were extremely honest and professional in every way - sincerely some really good guys. Brian Amill, the finance manager (another really sharp guy) finished my experience in the best possible way, staying well after closing to help finish up the paperwork and presented me with the keys to my new vehicle. As a former general manager of a large commercial truck dealership, I am very familiar with dealers and their often sleazy reputation. I can tell you that there is a distinct difference at Rothrock and I am proud to recommend them to anyone looking for a no-nonsense partner to help them find the perfect vehicle at a perfect price! This was the best experience buying a car that I have ever had. I had gone to two other dealerships and walked away because their service was terrible. I called in the morning and my salesman went out to the lot to confirm the vehicle I wanted to look at was in fact on the lot and available for purchase. When I arrived he greeted me, asked a few questions and then brought the car to me. There was no nonsense to try and get me to purchase a more expensive car or bait and switch like other dealerships. He took the time to go over all the features of the car. He even allowed me to make sure my sons mobility chair would fit in the back. After a test drive we sat down to negotiate. It was not as scary as I anticipated. They stood by the price that was quoted to me via email and I got a fair price on my trade in. In a matter of a couple hours the car was prepped, the documents signed and I was on my way. I left very happy with the car I purchased and the price I paid. Best dealership ever! More
Donald seems to be a ok guy, polite but sometimes he will just disappear and you will have to find him. Other than that he's nice. First impression of Carl tho was fine, until you actually deal with him, his math is terrible, read carefully and calculate for yourself whats listed on the bill, he also never tells anyone about the $200 taxable "dealer fee" that will be added to your negotiated price, he tries everything to make you end up paying more, in a subtle way. If he promises to email you back about something, forget it cause you will NEVER ever gets them, anything he promises that will be done for you in the future will never be done. Other than being polite, Carl is probably the worst manager among others in this building, everyone else seems to be more helpful, so if you end up dealing with him, go ahead and request to talk to another manager there instead. Rothrock is the only dealership in the Lehigh Valley that isn't still using 70's and 80's sales tactics. They have a large inventory and usually will have whatever you are looking for. I have bought 2 vehicles from them and the salesman, Brendan Kelly is the best I have worked with in a long time. He knew exactly what I wanted and within 2 days had me driving off in a brand new Ram 1500. Good work considering I have always been a die hard Silverado guy. Overall -very happy. More
This place was the best card dealership i have ever been to. I was looking for a jeep wrangler all over the Leigh Valley and have been to count less dealers. all with way over priced Jeeps and who wanted to to. Matt was very knowledgeable about everything ! towards the end i was trying to think of questions to stump him on but could not get any to save my life. but when we go for a car it all comes down to the numbers right ? They where Fantastic !!!! I got a jeep i LOVE and a Great price. They also Gave me more then the KBB value on my trade. I was so happy! but they did not leave me hanging once i bout the Jeep. There Service is out standing and there are so many perks with joining the Rothrock Family. I am Very proud to say that i have found a car dealership that is more about customer service then anything. I can say this much i will be going back your years to come. More

The most admirable characteristic about Doc was his honesty. I had my heart set on a used Jeep! He refused to sale it to me because it needed far to many repairs! He told me he'd rather lose a sale than give me a piece of junk! It keep me abreast of the inventory and selected cars I personally would be interested in. Doc stayed within my price range and now I am the proud owner of a beautiful, safe, reliable Nissan! The customer service and honesty can't be beat! I will personally go to no other dealership! More
