Very deceptive! !!! We were set to purchase a vehicle that was priced at $27,300. The salesman came back with a total price of $38,000. They added in over $3k for rec !!! We were set to purchase a vehicle that was priced at $27,300. The salesman came back with a total price of $38,000. They added in over $3k for reconditioning fees and mats that we did not request or want. They low balled the trade in - offering 3000 less than any offer we received. Even after the Salesman agreed to negotiate the trade in and remove the $3k + BS we were still close to the same monthly payment. Stay away!!! Far away. More
The finance manager Gerorge Matteta is a bully he want me to take the 9% after I told sales person I already have financing through my own bank!! He then went on to say no one is going to finance you!! Ban to take the 9% after I told sales person I already have financing through my own bank!! He then went on to say no one is going to finance you!! Banks won’t do because of the car mileage, which was a lie, he then said I have the best interest rate. Mind you I already have a 5.4% with my own bank, he got all upset because I won’t sign, I will never go back to the dealership More
Terrible. Dealer told me car was available (Lied) took a check and cashed it. Promised a return of check and still waiting after a month. Too bad. So, for the past 6 years or so, dealers have tried to be more transparent about pricing. Purchasing cars became less traumatic, if not pleasant. So, when looking for a used Nissan Leaf (since there were n more transparent about pricing. Purchasing cars became less traumatic, if not pleasant. So, when looking for a used Nissan Leaf (since there were no new EVs available) we stumbled on an ad placed by Boch Nissan. It was a "Nissan Certified Used Car" and had been completely prepped to new condition, other than the 26k miles. The site said that we could pretty much do the entire deal online, so we used their systems to value our trade in, filled out the credit app, and were told that our car was worth $22,500 to them and that our credit score would give us the lowest interest rate possible from the various lender with whom they dealt. Unfortunately, the car was located at their sister dealership, and we found ourselves between two groups of salespeople vying for our business. When we straightened out which dealership would deal with us fairly (Christian at the Norwood location PROMISED that we would get the best trade in and the best deal on the Nissan Leaf -- but only if we dealt with him. We drove the two hours as quickly as we could, when Christian told us that others were also interested in the car. The sales manager at the other dealership said he would not release the vehicle and there was a lot of bickering back and forth between the stores. We were at the dealership for 6 hours -- they told us that the online trade value that we received on their site (KBB) was just an estimate, but they seemed to think that our car was in excellent condition (and only had 29k miles). They offered us $17,000 for the trade. We negotiated the trade to $20k and said we would go with Nissan financing, after the salesman told us that the price of the Leaf was only good if we went with a Nissan lender. At this point, we still had not seen the car and Christian said he would only be able to pick it up and drive it to his dealership IF we finished the deal with them first. Three hours later, the credit manager told us that with our 850 credit score, he could get us a 6% loan! I knew we could do better than that, but he would not budge. We told him that we had not seen the car yet and he assured us that the deal was not done until we were satisfied with the car. The salesman (Christian) had us initial a form ("To save time...") saying that he showed us all of the 165 items they check with a Nissan Certified car. When my wife said, "But we haven't seen it yet!" Christian said it was in the final wash area and would be brought down soon. One of t he items on the checklist indicated that they had repaired all scratches, nicks and scrapes. During the many hours of waiting (with no restaurants anywhere in walking distance and no offers of food or drink - except coffee) I looked at the online pictures of the vehicle we were purchasing and noticed that there were some large dents and scrapes on the driver's side bumper. I hunted down Christian and asked him if they would have those things fixed before we took possession. He stated emphatically, "You'll never even see where those spots were when it comes out of the detail shop!" Finally, after about 5 1/2 hours, he reported that the car was being charged up and we should be out in the next hour. He did not offer to show us the car. Since they had already moved our car and taken the plates off (to place on the new car), I took a walk to where I figured the charging station was. The front bumper had been slathered with white touchup paint and most of the black plastic was still visible through the white covering. When I asked Christian about this, all he would do was to offer to give me the remainder of the touchup paint and shut the door when we left. A week later, I called the GM and he assured me that Christian would be in touch about fixing the problem. He said he would have his bumper specialist fix the problem. My long review could be summarized by: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER. As others have said in the majority of reviews, I wish I had read the reviews first! More
George (The GM) and George (Finance) are the biggest assets of this dealership. Max was my salesperson and he was fabulous too. My daughter was the first to purchase from them. My husband and I purchase assets of this dealership. Max was my salesperson and he was fabulous too. My daughter was the first to purchase from them. My husband and I purchased this past week, and our eldest daughter is finalizing her purchase today! Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. We purchased a 2019 Chevy Cruz from this dealership. They had us sign all the paperwork only to find out that they did not even own the title to sell We purchased a 2019 Chevy Cruz from this dealership. They had us sign all the paperwork only to find out that they did not even own the title to sell us the car. A week later, the issue got worked out and we got the car only to find a horrible smell like decomposing flesh coming from the vents. The dealership tried to “fix” it, but all they did was replace the cabin air filter and told me the smell was coming from “twigs, sticks and pine needles” stuck in the vent which demonstrated they never even did any cleaning or maintenance to the car before they gave it to us. This did not resolve the issue and our private mechanic told us the smell was cigarette smoke contamination and would not come out of the car. We tried to then return the car, but they told us it was outside of the 7 day return policy and was ineligible for a return, despite it being within 7 days of us receiving the car and they had not even given us the car within 7 days of signing because they didn’t own it! Absolutely horrendous business, this place should be shut down for scummy business practices and bad product. You’d be better off buying a car from the first person you saw off the street than this xxxx-show joke of a company. Would never return here or recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Good luck if you decide to stick with them, you’ll need it. Actively pursuing legal action against them at the time of this review. More
