Toyota Highlander XSE lease - 3 years / 30,000 miles / $0 down I must say, I was skeptical of Tarbox in the beginning. I received a GREAT lease quote on a Highlander XSE and after a few hours decided to down I must say, I was skeptical of Tarbox in the beginning. I received a GREAT lease quote on a Highlander XSE and after a few hours decided to put a deposit on the Highlander XSE Dark Gray / Red Leather sight unseen. It was near the end of business Saturday before Easter. I arranged that I would come in Monday and take delivery, Monday morning I received a call informing me that the car was being sold at the same time I made the deposit and that they would do their best to locate a vehicle. This was the first thing that made me weary. Several days came and went without an update, this is when I reached out to Mike Singleton the sales manager via email. We spoke on the phone and Mike asked if I would be interested in taking the black / red leather they had coming in. I agreed to take the black if he reduced the price which he did $20 p/month. Expected delivery was between April 13th and 19th, unfortunately the car still hadn't arrived by the 19th and at that point I was even more skeptical. Sure enough the car came in on the 20th and I took delivery on the 21st. This is when I verified Tarbox was a good dealership, when I came in to pickup the car, prior to allowing them to run my credit I verified the price was exactly what was quoted which it was, including the $20/mth reduction to the payment for taking the black one. I marked customer service 4 stars because I did feel they could have kept in the loop a little bit better, but, each inquiry I made was answered in a timely manner. Those that have read this far: let me tell you that I starting reaching out to other dealerships when the car hadn't been delivered by the 19th and nobody came close to Tarbox's quote. Those dealerships being Ira, Herb Chambers & Balise. Ira had the second best offer still $40/mth higher than Tarbox and Balise was close to Ira. Herb Chamber's was nowhere close. If you're quote shopping make sure to include Tarbox & Ira. Thanks for reading Chris Gesterling More
