After our car threw a piston on I-55, and had to be flat-bedded to the closest Hyundai dealership, O'Brian's, we were unsure what to expect...but they have put all the stress to rest. We had to get a rental car from the Central Illinois airport due to the time of day, with all other dealerships & rental car places being closed. Constant updates kept us in the loop on what to expect next. They offered a loaner car after the news of how long it would take to get the necessary parts, and I drove up from my home in St Louis to return the rental and get the dealership loaner. Both Uber and Lyft had no cars running, but Joe (Service Dept) and Etta were so incredibly friendly, and without hesitation offered to follow me to the airport to drop off the rental car, and bring me back to get the dealership loaner. They have been in constant contact about the next steps with our vehicle, and are always friendly and able to answer all our questions. Chicagoland native here, who moved to St. Louis, and who was going to buy a Kia next time because it's a closer dealership for maintenance....however my next car WILL BE from O'Brien Hyundai and I'll happily make the drive to Central Illinois for any dealership work that needs to be done. Joe and Etta are both amazing, and because of those 2 staff members, I learned how the entire business runs....and O'Brien will have my business, and word-of-mouth in the future. A great team takes both the staff and the management to keep...and they have it all. More
