I want to start this off by saying I never leave reviews but this was the WORST experience! I would NOT recommend O'Daniel Honda! I am very disappointed in the service I received at O'Daniel Honda. I was but this was the WORST experience! I would NOT recommend O'Daniel Honda! I am very disappointed in the service I received at O'Daniel Honda. I was lied to and treated poorly! So here is what happened, I bought my car used from O'Daniel Honda and was told all about the lifetime power terrain warranty and how great it is and never had to use it/ take my car in for anything til now (and it's a joke and doesn't cover what they say it does on website). But that's not the worst part. I have a 2017 equinox with 89,000 miles. I have always taken good care of it and got it serviced regularly (have receipts for proof). Well on January 21st I heard a noise and stopped driving right away and pulled into Walmart as it was closet thing to me. They took a look and thought an oil gasket blew. I still had some oil but was loosing oil (no check engine light was on, this is information needed for later in the story). I called O'Daniel Honda oil gasket is part of power terrain so had my car towed over there as I did not want to drive it and something go wrong. O'Daniel Honda took a look at it and said it was not an oil gasket it was a rear main seal leak and then said my timing chain would need to be done as well. (According to their website timing chains are covered on warranty, but they told me it is not and will cost me around $5,300) I need my car I'm a teacher so had to fix it. Well when I went in to pick it up the mechanic Matt was there and walked over and told me about a recall on a Camshaft actuater that I would need to take it in to a Chevy dealership to get done (called Chevy dealership the next day no recall. This detail is important later) After I paid they pulled my car up and I went out to start it and my check engine light was on (remember no light was on when I brought it in.) I walked back in and told Matt he came out with the code reader and my dad was with me and pointed out how black liquid was being shot out my exhaust and was dripping from behind my rear driver side tire. Matt read the code and quickly cleared it and said it was a C02 sensor from the work they did and it shouldn't turn back on after I drive it. Then put his hand in front of black liquid being shot out and said it's just soot from there work and will stop after driving. He said to call back down if it comes back on and he will take care of it (LIES). I drove it home (didn't feel right driving was driving rough) turned it on next day light was back on. Called back was told it would cost more if I brought it back to get fixed. Brought it in to another mechanic that day so didn't even drive it for a day less than 50miles. The mechanic plugged it in and said it was the camshaft actuater (which Matt said was a recall but wasn't). So the black liquid being shot out was not soot but fuel. The mechanic went in to fix it and saw Matt the mechanic at O'Daniel did not tighten the tensioner on timing chain it was super super loose he could move it with his finger. He did not change out the whole timing kit even though I was charged for it. The mechanic had to remove engine again to do camshaft actuater and redo the oil change O'Daniel just did because of it as well. The new mechanic also said the camshaft should have been looked at and taken care of when the engine was out the first time. He was mad at the situation for me as well and wanted to see what all O'Daniel charged me for, he even said I was screwed over and felt very sorry for me. The new mechanic had to redo oil change again, change out the camshaft actuators, balance and tighten the chain tensioners, balance the shaft chain, do the crank seal, timing cover gasket, and the valve cover gasket. I also have the codes that read camshaft on the bill as well. Multiple of these things were on my O'Daniel bill but NOT done or not done right. Since the engine had to be taken out again it cost me another $1,600. More
Have bought 4 new Honda’s here. Sales are fine, service not so good. They have a policy that the included oil changes are only done when maintenance minder is down to 15 percent whi Sales are fine, service not so good. They have a policy that the included oil changes are only done when maintenance minder is down to 15 percent which can easily be over 10,000 miles. As a retired master mechanic, i have rebuilt enough engines to know that if you plan to keep a vehicle, 7,500 is the top limit if you plan to keep the car. Their refusal to do the complimentary included changes at the interval that I am comfortable with as the customer, sadly will have me looking elsewhere as I will buy elsewhere. More

Bought a Accord Sport 12/26/20 2 months later warning lites everywhere turns out at some point a rodent chewed on the wires so not the car needs a new wiring harness. $2000 fix. Honda an O'Daniel are awa lites everywhere turns out at some point a rodent chewed on the wires so not the car needs a new wiring harness. $2000 fix. Honda an O'Daniel are aware of this problem with Honda vehicles knowing full well rodents like to chew on the soy based covered wires. At any point your vehicle can lose its steering or its brakes because the wires fail. And yet they go on selling Honda's to customers not caring about the cost to the customer or the customers safety. Kevin Nichols More

I took my brand new van into O’Daniel Honda for a second opinion for a problem that has been taking place with my vehicle. I explained the problem to the man working and that we had already taken it to a pr opinion for a problem that has been taking place with my vehicle. I explained the problem to the man working and that we had already taken it to a previous dealer. He proceeded to tell me that if they already took a look at it, then it would be a waste of time for one of their technicians to look into the problem. He also told me that there would be a case already open on my van that would cover the cost of anything that needed to be replaced due to this problem. I asked if he could look the case up or call to get more information on that. Another man working behind the counter smiled and said, “That would require one of us waiting on hold for 40 minutes.” Not a single person looked at my car or helped me get to the bottom of the problem. The man’s last words were, “Sorry that you wasted your time driving down here today.” I am a person that understands when things go wrong, but it’s pretty frustrating when our first Honda purchase hasn’t been successful and now two dealerships haven’t been able to get to the bottom of our problem. Incompetent Service Department with Poor Customer Services We had a horrible experience involving the service department at O'Daniel Honda. Our service coordinator, John Jennings, and the service department ma We had a horrible experience involving the service department at O'Daniel Honda. Our service coordinator, John Jennings, and the service department manager, Travis Thomas, simply did not care about our situation and were extremely rude and unprofessional. I view the entire service department as incompetent. We had to replace the clutch and coil on our 2012 Honda Pilot as the A/C was not working. The bill for that repair was $1,200.00. Four months later, our A/C unit was not working again. They stated that we needed to replace the "full system". The estimate cost for that repair was $4,715.00. A grand total $6,000.00 in repairs in 4 months on the A/C unit!! Shouldn't it have been repaired correctly the first time?? They did not try to make anything right with us including crediting the $1,200.00 to the new proposed estimate cost. Needless to say, we will NEVER return to this dealership for ANYTHING!! I do not recommend going to O'Daniel Honda service department!!! More

Removed Tires Bought a 2008 Honda Civic Si in 2010. Should of had 3 years on service but every time I took it in for service they charged me. Also, a plastic piece Bought a 2008 Honda Civic Si in 2010. Should of had 3 years on service but every time I took it in for service they charged me. Also, a plastic piece that goes behind crankshaft pulley needed replaced after they replaced main oil seal. I thought they should replace it for free because they had damaged it replacing the main oil seal but they didn't see it that way. Also the day I went to pick up the car it didn't have the tires on it that it did when I gave them money. BUYER BEWARE!!! The Car Fax said the car was not in a accident however, when I toke car to Bellevue Honda they said the car was in one. That explains why they could not adjust the toe in on rear wheels. Now I believe the car was in a rear end accident. Paint peeling on rear trunk and around window. also paint all came off of passenger side, side view mirror. More
