I gave this rating about this dealership because it dictates my experiences when I visit. When ordering parts for my car from this dealership they are very helpful. I deal with a person named Justin dictates my experiences when I visit. When ordering parts for my car from this dealership they are very helpful. I deal with a person named Justin Popanda and he is friendly, gets the what I need-when I need it, and has a great attutude when assiting me. That's why I think my overall experience with this dealership is great. In the category of price I think they could be lower compared to other competitors out there. I know we're in a recession, but not all people are buying new cars. I'm one of those people how would rather buy parts instead of a new car. Hopefully this description helped with the rating of this company. More
My battery died while I was in Omaha on Saturday 6/18/2011. I bought my Element in 2006 from O'Daniel and they worked with me so well. I needed some help and I called thme up to see if they could he 6/18/2011. I bought my Element in 2006 from O'Daniel and they worked with me so well. I needed some help and I called thme up to see if they could help me out and Janelle who answered the phone was so polite and asking great questions to see where I was exactly at. They sent someone out to jump my car and they were there in a very short time. Tyler showed up and helped me out by jump starting my car and he was very nice as well. I followed him back to O'Daniel and Kyle explained what they were going to do to check out my car and what needed to be done. He took me into where I needed to purchase the new battery. They finished the tests on my car and asked if I had any questions and then sent me on my way. The people that work at O'Daniel were so helpful and made me feel good about driving back to Columbus with no problems. They were so great and all of this in a short time of them closing. I'M SO THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU AT O'DANIEL. Thank you so much again you are truely my lifesaver. More
I have purchased 3 cars from O'daniel Honda, and have been pleased with the trusting relationship I have developed with Janelle Schuttler--I cannot imagine buying a car from anyone else! And, while Hond been pleased with the trusting relationship I have developed with Janelle Schuttler--I cannot imagine buying a car from anyone else! And, while Hondas are very reliable, I have had need of repairs. I like working with one service person, and that is Kyle Newsom. I can call him about that funny noise he needs to make disappear or for a routine service appointment and he is consistently pleasant, professional and specific with me about the nature of the problem. (I can tell you about bushings in great detail!) As an educator, I value the teaching approach Kyle takes with his customers. What I appreciate most is that Kyle is not satisfied until I am. I never feel daunted by car repairs because I know I will be well-taken care of at a fair price, and my car will not fail me when I need it! More
Having moved to a new state and made the decision to pass along the 2003 Honda Element to my young collegian, I brought it in to O'Daniel Honda for a summary tune up and a few replacement parts (small things along the 2003 Honda Element to my young collegian, I brought it in to O'Daniel Honda for a summary tune up and a few replacement parts (small things: light bulbs, etc.) before bequeathing "my precious" (the Element) to "my precious" (the girl.) This was my first contact and experience with O'Daniel Honda: Mr. Kyle Newsom, Service Advisor, had spoken with me when I made my appointment and it was encouraging to be remembered when I called with additional preparation questions/comments. I received a warm welcome and Mr. Newsom courteously noted that he had received the service records which I had asked my former Honda service advisor to send ahead of my appointment. Mr. Newsom reviewed my car's maintenance and repair history with me to confirm that he had an accurate and complete understanding of all significant events in the car's history. The work to be done on the Element was to take half of the day, so I waited in the Customer Lounge for a brief time, did some business (O'Daniel Honda very astutely designed a 2-computer work space adjacent to the Customer Lounge for our use) and caught lunch with a friend. When I returned, the work was on the cusp of completed. Kyle had consulted with me several times during the morning: as my car was being examined and evaluated, to inform me of the probable costs, to prioritize the work according to my needs/allow me to control the costs and extent of repairs and to inform me of progress on the car. Before I met with the cashier, Mary (who, besides being very accurate with her paperwork, is also blessed with an engaging personality,) Kyle helped me make notes for future maintenance "milestones" that my daughter and I will plan to tackle as appropriate. So, although this was a bigger monetary investment than expected, I was very happy with the outcome. I drove my 8-years-old-170,000-mile-Element home feeling as though it was in perfect condition: all lights, locks and engine parts were running well and I am very satisfied that it will continue to run perfectly and safely for another 50,000 miles - or more! - for my daughter. In short, working with Kyle Newsom and his service team made this an excellent experience with O'Daniel Honda. Unfortunately, the next day, one tiny light bulb burned out (just like home sweet home: when one goes, they all pop!) I returned to O'Daniel Honda and once again, Mr. Newsom gave me a greeting and provided the fix up - at half price! Icing on the cake, as they say. More
