At first Chris was very nice and helpful. He sent me a video of the vehicle I wanted to look at. My husband and I drove two hours to look at the traverse they had. We loved it the moment we d He sent me a video of the vehicle I wanted to look at. My husband and I drove two hours to look at the traverse they had. We loved it the moment we drove it. We found out that the car wasn’t even ready to be sold. It had not been inspected and had an open recall. When we left the dealership, We had an understanding that we would process the application once the car was ready for us to take possession of it. He had asked for a deposit. I told him no because my car covers my money down. We were waiting on a recalled part to be replaced and inspection to be completed. We started the application process. I was approved and my trade in was my covering my money down. The next day I started getting phone calls from him and a loan officer requesting to process the loan application before the car was ready. When I told him I wanted to wait until the car was ready, he asked me to put a deposit down again. I told him did not because the equity of my car would cover it. He said that the car was still listed and he had others calling about it. If I didn’t put a deposit down or complete the loan application he would sell it to someone else. I found it very unnerving that he still had the car listed after i was already approved to buy it. I felt like I was backed into a corner. I went ahead and did the loan application. It took them two weeks to get the car to me in which I paid interest on the loan. They refused to let me take the car before the recall was taken care of even though I said I would have the recall taken care of myself. When they finally delivered the car, the failed to send the finalized paperwork, inspection slip, title, and check for the taxes as well has the second set of keys. I had to wait for them to send them to me in the mail. The whole ordeal was horrible. The only reason I went through with it was because I loved the vehicle and I had been looking for months for the right vehicle for my family. I feel that I should be compensated for my time and the frustration that this has caused. No compensation was offered. Not even an apology. Would not recommend this salesman. More
