O'Meara is a horrible place for sales. It was very unpleasant, difficult and just an overall bad experience. My wife was so stressed out by the time that we got home that I almost took the vehicle ba unpleasant, difficult and just an overall bad experience. My wife was so stressed out by the time that we got home that I almost took the vehicle back and punched the sales manager in the nose. I bought a 2007 Ford Edge there, and the sales person lacked a lot of knowledge about the vehicle and was a haggler. I had a trade in with a KBB value of $2,000. They said they'd give me $200 - so I just laughed and started to walk out. He told me to wait a minute, and he came back with a $1600 offer. $200 to $1600 - must have been a clerical error right? Right. Spent about an hour looking at vehicle options and test driving. They promised me that they had the vehicle I wanted, but after nearly 2 hours of haggling and paperwork - they came back and told me they didn't have the vehicle. So I say enough of this, I'm going to a different place - and then the sales guy says 'oh wait, we have one but it's been driven by Mrs. O'Meara for a bit now and has about 500 miles on it.' So I spent another hour trying to convince them that I wanted a price reduction. They refused, so I told them that I wanted a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty thrown in because she had been driving it - and who knows how an owner's wife treats the vehicles. They approved the warranty after much debate, but then it took another hour to get the rest done. Overall, my wife and I spent over 5 1/2 hours at that stealership. I will never buy another vehicle from them again - which is their loss because my company buys fleet vehicles quite often. More
I took my vehicle in for an oil change, and lube. They I took my vehicle in for an oil change, and lube. They were supposed to fill the fluids and check the tire pressure. They looked me up about 1/2 ho I took my vehicle in for an oil change, and lube. They were supposed to fill the fluids and check the tire pressure. They looked me up about 1/2 hour later and told me I needed a new air filter which I had changed about a week before, told me I needed a new cabin air filter, it was clear that the cover hadn't been opened. told me I needed my power steering flushed when you could tell the cap to the reservoir hadn't been touched as all the fluid gap's hadn't been touched. The air pressure in the tires was not set and they came up with about $500 worth of things that I needed. After I paid they told me that there computer was down and they would mail me a receipt and a report card which I have never got. More
Went in and tried to trade in my 99 F250 for a 2003 F250 Power Stroke. At the time I was leasing my 99 and was told I was $3k over on my mileage and was told Ford would not finance me for the 2003 (which w Power Stroke. At the time I was leasing my 99 and was told I was $3k over on my mileage and was told Ford would not finance me for the 2003 (which was $32,000). First off I have a buddy who works for another ford dealership and before I went in I knew I was only owed $1K in mieage so salesperson was trying to get me to pay more for my mieage then what I owed. Also a coupe of months later purchased a 2003 F250 Power Stroke from Formby Ford which listed for $43K and had no problem getting financed for this vehicle. Along with Omera's service department have taken vehicles in the past there and they had to order parts for it but it takes 2 weeks for them to get them in. Formby orders parts for my truck and by the next day they are calling to say they received my parts. I know Ford has a policy to have parts delivered within 24 hours but seems to me Omera Doesn't stick to fords policies. More
